As the official grooming sponsor of NYFW: Men’s for the fifth season in a row, AXE styled all of the models’ hair at Mexican designer Sanchez Kane. Highlights, designer inspiration, and stylist tips for recreating the looks at home can be found below thanks to AXE Lead Stylist John Ruidant.

The Latina designer Sanchez Kane put on an amazing show displaying an edgy perspective on today’s current political climate, with a large variety of multicultural models emphasizing her powerful message.

Sanchez – Kane – The Slick and Sleek

1. Start by sectioning off hair into top, middle and bottom portions
2. Flat iron the bottom section and follow down hair using a fine-tooth comb; repeat on middle and top sections
3. Select the placement on head to tie the lanyard on and secure
4. Working your way around the head, apply AXE Clean Cut Look Signature Pomade to flatten hair further and create a greasy look

Sanchez – Kane – The Greasy Fro

1. Start by massaging head with fingers to break up curls
2. Take a bit of AXE Clean Cut Look Signature Pomade and start twisting the tips of the hair
3. Work your way around the entire head and finish with AXE Clean Cut Look Signature Pomade on the sides of head to give that greasy wet look

Sanchez – Kane – The Long Slick Down

1. Start by sectioning off hair into top, middle and bottom portions
2. Flat iron the bottom section then apply a bit of AXESmooth Look Shine Pomade before combing through for an extra smooth look
3. Repeat on middle and top sections
4. Comb hair back and down to an inch above the nape of the neck
5. Finish off by apply AXE Clean Cut Look Signature Pomade to add a bit of sheen and tame flyaways
