Berlin was the backdrop for the launch of Montblanc’s new travel campaign. The Metropol Theatre at Nollendorfplatz opened its doors to the brand for the first time after six years to be transformed for one night only into an immersive travel experience, where the new campaign promise was brought to life: inviting travelers everywhere to reconnect with the world by exploring new destinations and perspectives. The new collection includes 6 different lightweight trolleys designed to provide travelers with functional companions for seamless travel without compromising style. The sleek trolley features 360 rotation wheels, a multi-stop handle bar, expansive packing compartments, and a laptop sleeve.
Montblanc believes that travel enriches our perspective and encourages you to explore new destinations. “Reconnecting with the world around us is a key theme for us this year and we wanted our new travel line to make the travel experience as enjoyable as possible, leaving room to learn about the world around us, inspiring us to leave our mark,” explained Nicolas Baretzki, Montblanc CEO. “By giving our guests access to a theater that has been closed for almost six years and share special cultural experiences with them, we brought that benefit to life in the vibrant city of Berlin.”
Evoking a short city trip with a group of friends and filled with unexpected encounters, guests journeyed through a travel tunnel to arrive into the heart of the Metropol, surrounded by projections of favorite urban destinations. Among the other discoveries they made at their destination: a central wall sculpture created with trolleys by Marc Jung reflecting several artworks on the Berlin wall, marking 30 years since its fall.
The travel experience was attended by many friends of the Maison including Adrien Brody, Quincy Brown, Alex Pettyfer, Poppy Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse, and model Toni Garrn. Entertainment by MEUTE, a Techno Marching Band made up of eleven drummers and horn players that combine hypnotic techno and expressive acoustic instruments, tracks spun by Berlin-based Korean DJ Peggy Gou, DJ and style icon Palina Rojinski and actor Lars Eidinger closing the night with a special performance.
With a complete travel assortment created to make travel more seamless, Montblanc gives entrepreneurs, trailblazers and urban explorers trusted travel companions for their trips to key cities around the world including the new #MY4810 Montblanc Nightlight Silver Trolleys and the re-imagined Montblanc Extreme 2.0 collection.
