With the level of entertaining coming up between now and January 1st, we can’t have enough cocktail recipes. You need to keep dinner parties exciting, and providing cocktails sophisticated enough for the most upscale bar is one way to keep your guests happy and eager for your next reception. These recipes feature liquors from our popular Spirits Gift Guide including Buchanan’s De Luxe, Tequila Don Julio Reposado, Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, Zacapa Rum.
Ingredients:
1.5oz Buchanan’s De Luxe
1oz Rosemary-Jalapeño infused syrup
.75oz Fresh lime
3 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Rosemary sprig for garnish
Serving suggestion:
Large rocks glass
Preparation:
Shake all ingredients, strain into a large rocks glass full of ice and garnish with the rosemary
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz GODIVA Dark Chocolate Liqueur
3/4 oz Zacapa 23
1/4 oz Baileys Original Irish Cream
Chocolate Shavings for Garnish
Preparation:
1. Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake well.
2. Strain contents into a cocktail glass rimmed with chocolate shavings.
Ideal Serving Glass:

Holiday in Paradise

Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces Tequila Don Julio Reposado
1/2 ounce Chilled Mulled Wine
3/4 ounce Lemon Juice
3/4 ounce Amber Agave Nectar
Preparation:
1. Combine Tequila Don Julio Reposado, lemon juice and amber agave nectar into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.
2. Strain contents into a chilled coupe glass.
3. Carefully add mulled wine from a pour spout over the back of a spoon so as to layer it atop the golden hued sour.

Ingredients:
3/4 ounces Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve
3 ounces Champagne
1/2 ounce Orange Liqueur
Orange Twist for Garnish
Preparation:
1. Combine ingredients in Champagne flute.
2. Garnish with an orange twist.
Ideal Serving Glass:
Champagne Flute

Sherry Merry Punch

Ingredients:
3 cups Zacapa Rum
1/4 cup Pinot Noir
1 1/2 cups Amontillado Sherry
1 chilled 750ML Bottle Sparkling Wine
1 cup Well-Chilled Sparkling Water
1 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Honey
Preparation:
1. Combine fresh lemon juice and honey into large punch bowl or pitcher and stir until honey dissolves.
2. Add in Zacapa Rum 23, pinot noir, Amontillado sherry, sparkling wine and club soda and stir gently until blended.
3. Add in ice and garnish with Fruit.
4. Pour into punch glasses.
