Turning fifteen marks a long-awaited milestone for many teenage girls in the Latino culture: a special day, a great fantasy, and the culmination of a lifelong dream, all while wearing a seriously showstopping dress. Discovery Familia shares this moment with VESTIDO DE QUINCE, an all-new original production premiering Thursday, September 22 at 10pm E/P. This series is a spin-off of the worldwide hit, Vestido de novia, (Say Yes to the Dress) – only now, a group of quinceañeras are the ones saying “yes” to the dress for their beloved coming-of-age celebration.

Hosted by model and former beauty queen Daniela Di Giacomo, VESTIDO DE QUINCE follows 16 young Latinas in search of their ideal dress. Joining along for the journey are close family and friends to help guide the girls through this unforgettable, but slightly daunting, process. They head to the retailer of choice for such occasions – the renowned Bella Quinces, based in Miami – to evaluate all options, from the poufy to the perfect.

Led by Di Giacomo’s stylish eye and the expertise of the team at Bella Quinces, the girls balance finding the perfect dress with winning the approval of family and friends. But with the stress of a major life-defining event coupled with nerves and emotion, will they be able to find “the one”?

In each episode, viewers will also get to know the girls and some of the challenges they have faced – from health issues and bullying, to uprooting and beginning a new life in another country. Having overcome such challenges to celebrate this momentous occasion, the transformations of these girls into their quinceañera looks will thrill, surprise and bring everyone to tears.
