As part of this partnership, Nick is the face of Artisan Pure, the newest fragrance in the John Varvatos Artisan Collection. The next chapter of the Artisan story comes to life in a moving portrait of Nick’s most intimate moments. Drawing inspiration from the light, natural design and fresh, crisp scent of Artisan Pure, the campaign offers an introspective look and feel, exuding luxury and cool in its most natural form with black and white shots of the artist.

A first for the John Varvatos brand, the collaboration kicks off with a unique limited edition Spring/Summer 2018 fashion collection and the global launch of Artisan Pure. This is only the beginning of the partnership and ongoing friendship between John and Nick—more exciting projects to be released later this year.

John Varvatos Artisan Pure combines a revitalizing blend of citrus and fresh herbs with woody accents for a refreshing crisp aroma. Staying with the truest and purest form possible, the modern, warmed woods bring an understated elegance to the fresh, masculine scent. Highlighted are three distinct types of petitgrains which use all elements of the citrus tree: leaves, branches and tender fruit; as well as the best quality of orris.

TOP NOTES
The fragrance opens with a mix of citrus notes such as Spanish Lemon, Valencia Orange and Calabrian Bergamot. A trio of Petitigrain Essences brings a fresh green harmony to the opening notes of the scent. HEART NOTES Herbal accents of Orange Flowers, Coffee Tree Flower, Jasmine and Italian Orris Absolute and Resinoid complement the notes of Coriander Seed and Cardamom resulting in a sensual masculine floralcy.

BASE NOTES A woody base of Orris, Duo of Texan and Virginian Cedarwood, Primavera Wood from Mexico, Angelica Root, Ambrette Seed and Tonka Bean linger, bringing a refined and artisanal touch to the base of the fragrance.

THE DESIGN
Artisan Pure complements the beautiful collection of handcrafted and distinctly packaged Artisan fragrances. With its clean, bright and almond hue color scheme, the Artisan Pure bottle captures the light, natural and understated elegance by which the fragrance was inspired. Sandblasted for a clean, frosted look, the iconic flask bottle is wrapped in durable hand-woven rattan stem. The cap and foot of the bottle is inspired by natural driftwood adding a touch of rugged luxury to the overall design. Complete with Artisan Pure, the Artisan profile echoes the contemporary silhouette of the John Varvatos fragrance collection, with each scent presented to employ different textures, creating and striking new design and identity.
