Just because you’re not in Munich doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy Oktoberfest. Midtown Manhattan’s newest beer destination – The Pennsy Beer Garden is celebrating Oktoberfest in NYC. When in New York prepare to tap some kegs and practice for the stein hoist contests because The Pennsy Beer Garden has you covered for every night of Oktoberfest.
The Pennsy kicks off the Oktoberfest celebrations with a tapping of the Keg on September 16 at 6pm and a live performance by fan favorite German band The Scorpions. Local New York and Pennsylvania as well as German beers will be on special all night and throughout Oktoberfest.
On September 25, the festivities keep coming with a Oktoberfest take on the age old Pennsylvania vs New York rivalry in honor of the Philadelphia Flyers vs New York Rangers preseason game. Guests will enjoy live music, beer specials from Philadelphia and New York local beers, a stein hoisting contest and the chance to win tickets to a regular season Flyers vs. Rangers game.
In July 2017, The Pennsy Food Hall renovated, revamped and expanded, returning to New York City with an all new Beer Garden, oversized bar, as well as the largest outdoor patio of any food hall and exciting new dining options. Located in the heart and soul of Penn Plaza, the refreshed food hall and beer garden is a social hub of food, entertainment and bar programming for local businesses, commuters, families, neighbors, tourists and fans at Madison Square Garden.
Can’t make it on September 16 or 25? Don’t worry, The Pennsy Beer Garden will have live music, food specials (from The Pennsy restaurants: Pat LaFrieda, Ribalt Mo’, Taco Dumbo, Cinnamon Snail, Little Beet and Sabi Suchi) and lots of beer throughout all of Oktoberfest (Sept 16 to Oct 3).
