Old Parr Whisky Joins NYC Footy To Celebrate Amateur Futbol

To kick off the fall season NYC Footy and Old Parr Whisky hosted the Inaugural Copa Old Parr in Queens, NYC bringing more than 115 of NYC’s amateur fútbol players together for a free tournament. This event kicked off the partnership between the whisky brand and the largest amateur soccer league in the country, with the likeminded mission to promote the sport at a local community level.

Copa Old Parr invited players to compete in a 5v5 tournament at Upper 90 Rooftop in Queens on one of the warmest days of October leading down to the matchup between the Black and Blue teams in the Competitive division and the Purple and Gold team in the Casual Division.

Following the tournament, players were invited to a post-game celebration where they enjoyed Old Parr cocktails like Old Parr Ginger and Old Parr Cola paired with delicious Hispanic fare, music and entertainment.

Throughout the rest of the season, NYC Footy and Old Parr will continue to celebrate the Golden Moments and passion for the sport of fútbol, with local matches, post-game programming and special events.
