With the 93rd annual Academy Awards coming up on Sunday, April 25th, we are bringing you two perfect cocktail recipes from BACARDÍ rum for you to enjoy as you watch the stars take the stage for the biggest night of award season.

Golden-hued like the awards themselves, this drink is made with BACARDÍ Reserva Ocho Rum – aged at least eight years under the Caribbean sun, pineapple juice, lime juice and apricot liqueur. Served in a coupe glass, this lavish drink will have you feeling like you just won an Oscar.

BACARDÍ Hotel Nacional
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. BACARDĺ Reserva Ocho Rum
- ¾ oz. pineapple juice
- ¼ oz. lime juice
- ¼ oz. simple syrup
- ½ oz. apricot liqueur
Method: Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously, and fine strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a pineapple leaf or a lime wheel.
BACARDÍ Hand-Shaken Daiquiri
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. BACARDÍ Superior Rum
- 1 oz. lime juice
- 2 tsp. extra fine sugar
Method: Pour sugar and lime juice into a cocktail shaker and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Add BACARDÍ Superior Rum, fill the shaker halfway with cubed ice, and add crushed ice to fill the shaker. Place the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled. Strain through a fine strainer into a chilled coupette.
