After being lead singer for trailblazing band Jane’s Addiction and creating one of music’s greatest festivals with Lollapalooza, superstar rocker Perry Farrell now sets his sights on spirits by becoming the face of Maestro Dobel Tequila.
In an intimate setting at New York’s Electric Room Farrell shared his own tips for drinking Dobel and introduced the very special release of the Maestro Dobel Blanco, Anejo and Reposado tequilas, alongside the signature Dobel Diamante.
Created by Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta, a man who has spent a lifetime learning the rules of tequila distillation only to break them, these newly released expressions are a result of eleven generations worth of agave mastery by the Beckmann estate. Each expression utilizes single-estate blends, produced in small batches for unique character, and is then double distilled for unprecedented smoothness. The result is a uncommonly smooth silver, a six-month refined reposado and the ultimate añejo, aged for eighteen months in American white oak then blended with a European reserve just prior to bottling.
Stay tuned for our very exclusive interview with Perry Farrell coming soon. In the meantime, enjoy a Maestro Dobel Black Margarita!
