Ready for the WORLD CUP? Meet The 32 Participants in Exciting New Posters

The world’s most watched sporting event begins June 12 running through July 13. The FIFA World Cup is seen by hundreds of millions of viewers, with the 2010 event in South Africa being broadcast to 204 countries on 245 different channels. This year the numbers are expected to grow for the Brazil based event. To celebrate the occasion Brazilian graphic artist Cristiano Siqueira has designed posters for every one of the 32 teams participating. The ESPN campaign features star players from each team along with their national nickname.

The exciting posters lend a superhero aura to each team, a fitting design for larger than life players in their respective countries, competing in the greatest sports tournament on earth. Take a look!
