Just in time for the holidays Sperry is teaming up with Tampa Bay streetwear boutique, Fresh Rags, to release a limited edition capsule collection that reimagines Sperry’s Authentic Original Boat Shoe.

The Sperry x Fresh Rags Pirates in Paradise Collection offers an elevated twist to the silhouette, making it a must-have for the graduated streetwear crowd with an eye for meticulous design.  Fresh Rags will also release a limited-edition collection of “Pirates in Paradise” apparel and accessories alongside the boat shoes. The Sperry x Fresh Rags Pirates in Paradise collection features two unisex boat shoes inspired by a local lore, as imagined by Fresh Rags. With the shoes representing dark and light, the “Sperry by Fresh Rags Gulfstar A/O 2-Eye” is constructed with off-black, synthetic stingray leather, a soft suede upper, and comes complete with a sawtooth outsole. Additional details include a serape inner lining, cross-stitched panels, tortoise shell eyelets, a Jolly Roger woven label, and gold doubloon stamped on the heel counter.

The contrasting “Sperry by Fresh Rags Harbor Ray A/O 2-Eye” is constructed with a blend of light tan synthetic stingray embossed leathers, designed to look like sun-bleached hide. Design elements such as gold eyelets and trimming, a striped seersucker inner lining, and lug Vibram outsole elevate the certified classic.
