The live-action series Spider–Noir, based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir, tells the story of Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s one and only superhero.
We at HOMBRE attended the series premiere in New York City and previewed the first two episodes. Cage delivers an intensely dramatic performance with the hint of humor that characterizes him. The supporting cast was equally strong in an original storyline that thrillingly evolves with mystery and style.
Whether you select to watch in color or black and white you’re bound to be mesmerized from the first scene.
