Sun Day Red has just released a new line of polos based on completed competition testing and feedback from Tiger Woods this past season.

The design team feels like this new line of polos is the next step towards being known as the best polos in golf.

The collection features 14 distinct classic-fit polos, each with the same unique design elements worth noting. The brand’s fanbase has been clamoring to wear the logo, and this line features the Sun Day Red Tiger logo prominently displayed on the chest for fans to wear with pride.

The new pieces are made with precision and technology in collaboration with Tiger Woods to ensure the best performance on and off the course. In addition to Tiger’s input on design and features, he provided real-time feedback on various aspects from the weight of the shirt, the collar stays, to the pearl buttons and fit.

Just to give you a sneak peek at some of the engineering behind the polos:

The classic-fit polos, which will be a part of its “Heritage” line, have a more thoughtful silhouette than other shirts in the category.

The Sun Day Red Heritage fit is a classic fit, but is designed to maximize the athlete’s swing radius, offering the perfect balance between a slim and roomy fit.

Tiger wanted the shirt tail to be slightly stepped on the back to allow for just the right amount of tuck without adding bulk, coupled with the silicone banded waistband in the Dynam pant allows it to stay tucked.

  • Tiger approaches apparel and footwear as meticulously as any other part of his equipment, and these polos are created with high-end performance poly-spandex/poly-stretch fabrics to prevent water absorption. Throughout the process, Tiger tested multiple versions of the shirt to achieve the ideal balance of lightweight and absorbency. This initial release has a variety of performance and weighting options tailored to different playing conditions, such as heat and humidity or cooler weather.
  • The shirt features collar stays which keep the overall look crisp and well positioned on the neck, which Tiger loves for staying sharp throughout long days on the course.
  • The premium pearl buttons are strategically placed so the first button can be left undone, maintaining the perfect spread as traditionally worn — a detail Tiger Woods insisted upon.

The first part of the collection dropped on September 12th.
