Tasty Cocktails For The Thanksgiving Holiday

We recently had the opportunity to share drinks with Matthieu Perrin and experience his latest entry into the spirits world with The Gardener Gin. Launched with business partner Brad Pitt, the gin is a smooth savory liquid, perfect for sipping neat or enjoying in a timeless cocktail.

For the Thanksgiving holiday we’re sharing two other cocktails from exciting brands Lost Explorer Tequila Blanco, and Martingale Cognac. Experience something new and get the holiday season off to a roaring start.
1 part The Gardener Gin
2 parts Champagne
1⁄2 part fresh lemon juice
1⁄2 part simple syrup
Orange zest
Pour the gin, lemon juice and syrup in a shaker full of ice. Shake until chilled. Strain in a flute glass and top with Champagne. Garnish with a zest of orange.
1 1⁄2 parts of The Gardener Gin
1 1⁄2 parts of Bitter Campari
1 1⁄2 parts of red Vermouth
Orange Zest
Mint Leaf
Stir in a mixing glass with ice and serve in a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with a zest of orange and a mint leaf.
1.5 oz (45 ml) Lost Explorer Tequila Blanco
0.5 oz (15 ml) Maple Syrup
5 oz (150 ml) Hot Water
1 Cinnamon Stick
2 Pineapple Cubes or Guava Rounds
1 Star Anise
Add the tequila, maple syrup, and hot water to a tempered glass/mug or toddy glass and stir gently until the maple syrup is fully dissolved. Drop in the cinnamon stick, pineapple cubes, or guava rounds, and star anise to infuse the flavors. Garnish with the cinnamon stick and star anise for an aromatic finish. Then, let it steep for a few moments before sipping.
1 ½ ounces Martingale Cognac
¾ ounce Orange Liqueur
¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
1 orange peel, for garnish
1 teaspoon granulated sugar, for garnish
Coat the rim of a coupe glass with sugar, if desired, and set aside. Add the cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled, then strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
