Tequila Cocktails Sure To Impress This Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo and tequila cocktails go hand in hand. And we know PATRÓN, Cazadores, and Grand Marnier offer a line-up of exquisite expressions whose delicious offerings make them the perfect addition for any celebration!
We’ve picked out our favorite tequila cocktails that make for a great addition to any Cinco de Mayo festivities you may be taking part in this year: Grand Marnier Grand Margarita, CAZADORES La Bandera, PATRÓN Spicy Margarita, among others.
Grand Margarita
- 0.75 parts Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge (an exceptional blend of fine cognac and bitter orange liqueur)
- 1.5 parts Tequila
- 0.75 parts Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.25 parts Agave Nectar
- Lime wheel to garnish
- Salt Optional
Method:
Fill a wide, shallow dish with 2-3 mm of fine salt. Cut a lime in half at the width and rub around half of the rim of a margarita glass. Cut a thin, crosswise slice from one of the lime halves for garnish. Holding glass upside down, dip wet half delicately into the salt. Shake Grand Marnier, tequila and lime juice with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into glass and apply lime garnish to the rim.
CAZADORES La Bandera
Ingredients:
1 oz Tequila Cazadores Reposado
1 oz Sangrita
- 2 oz Spicy Bloody Mary Mix
- 1/4 oz Orange Juice
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
Method:
Pour CAZADORES Reposado and lime juice into separate shot glasses. For Sangrita, add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker, shake and pour into a separate shot glass. Serve.
CAZADORES Highland Margarita
Ingredients:
2 oz Tequila Cazadores Blanco
4 oz Grapefruit Juice
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz light agave nectar
Method:
Combine all ingredients with ice, shake and strain into a salted glass filled with ice. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and a lime wheel
CAZADORES Jalapeño Margarita
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Tequila Cazadores Blanco
1/2 oz premium orange liqueur
1/2 oz light agave nectar
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 slice Jalapeño
Method:
Combine all ingredients with ice, shake and strain into a salted glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
2 oz Tequila Cazadores Blanco
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
4 oz Grapefruit Soda
1 Pinch Salt
Method:
Add all ingredients into a salted highball glass filled with ice. Stir with a spoon. Garnish with a lime wedge.
CAZADORES Margarita
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Tequila Cazadores Blanco
1 oz Fresh lime juice
1/2 oz Light Agave Nectar
1/2 oz Premium Orange Liqueur
Method:
Combine all ingredients with ice, shake and strain into a salted glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel
Cantarito Familiar
**serves 17-18 people
Ingredients:
1 Liter bottle of Tequila Cazadores Reposado
25 oz Orange Juice
10 oz Fresh Lime Juice
25 oz Grapefruit Juice
1 teaspoon salt
12 oz Grapefruit Soda
Method:
Combine tequila, orange juice, lime juice, grapefruit juice, salt, and grapefruit soda. Stir and pour over ice. Garnish with orange, grapefruit, and tamarind candy
Patrón Classic Margarita
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Patrón Silver
1 oz Citrónge Orange Liqueur
.75 oz Fresh lime juice
.25 oz Simple syrup
Lime wedge for garnish
Kosher salt (optional)
Method:
Combine liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously with ice to chill. Strain onto fresh ice in a rocks glass and garnish with a lime wedge. Optionally, salt half the rim of the glass with kosher salt.
1.5 oz Patrón Silver infused with jalapeño*
.5 oz Flavor puree (blood orange, mango or fresh beet)
3 oz Lime juice
Salt rim
Lime wedge and sliced jalapeño for garnish
Method:
Combine all ingredients over ice in a shaker. Shake and strain into a salt rimmed double old fashioned glass.
*Patrón Silver infused with jalapeño: Add 2 whole jalapeños cut down the middle and deseeded into 1 bottle of Patrón Silver. Let rest for 12 hours.
Perfect Pineapple Margarita
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Patrón Silver
.5 oz Citrónge Orange Liqueur
1 oz Pineapple juice
.5 oz Lime juice
Tajín rim
Lime wedge for garnish
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until combined and chilled. Strain into a Tajín-rimmed rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.
