THE RESTAURANT – Double Barrel Steakhouse
Simplicity, reliability, and excellent balance are characteristics that define a double barrel shotgun, and the essential qualities you’ll find at this superior steakhouse.
It commences with the best cuts of meats available and expands to culinary technique, presentation, and flavor. What’s certain is that you’ll find a varied menu with plenty of options.

We recommend you start with the singular Clothesline Bacon, and move on to a Shrimp Cocktail or New England Clam Chowder. As a main course opt for the 30 day wet aged 12 Gauge (12oz Prime NY Strip) or the Dry Aged Tomahawk. Those wanting chicken or fish have multiple choices with standouts being the Seared Honey Lavender Salmon or Parmigiano Chicken. For dessert don’t miss the DB Signature Cake Pops for Two.

EQUESTRIAN CENTER
If you love horses you have found the right place. From ponies, to Gypsy Vanners, to massive Clydesdales, beautiful Fresians, or fast Thoroughbreds The Preserve stables have them all.

You can ride them, schedule a romantic horse drawn carriage ride around the property, or better yet book a stay at one of the cottages in the equestrian center that will have horses in your backyard.
For horseback riding there are never-ending trails passing though relaxing creeks and picturesque landscapes.

THE RANGE

And if you appreciate gun culture you’ll find The Preserve has one of the most thorough facilities available anywhere. 

There are 5, 12, and 19 station sporting clay courses sure to test your abilities. Or step indoors and try the longest shooting range in the U.S. This may be best, with firearms available that range from machine guns, revolvers, rifles, or .44 magnums. The selection is impressive.

HOBBIT HOUSE
Imagine finding Middle Earth in Rhode Island. A dream facility for those fascinated with The Lord of The Rings and J.R.R. Tolkien‘s fantastical tales. Constructed with the author’s estate blessing, the Hobbit House is unique in design and the only such place in the Americas.
The space is available for quaint romantic dinners or larger friend and family gatherings. The menu takes inspiration from the books’ stories and can be customized for you.
Soon construction will be complete in a new Hobbit House that will welcome extended stays.
