The wait has come to an end. Next Thursday, April 17, The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel opens its doors. Palladium Hotel Group‘s new brand will open its first establishment in Playa d’en Bossa, Ibiza, to revolutionize the hotel segment.

The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel was born as an innovative proposal of experiential luxury in the heart of Playa d’en Bossa, an essential destination for those looking for high-quality entertainment with an avant-garde approach. After a comprehensive renovation, The Ushuaïa Tower reinvented itself to make way for this new concept, inspired by the  neighboring Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, which will continue to combine the best DJs in the world with exceptional accommodations.

True to its brand promise, at The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel the unusual and the unforgettable come together to offer a surprising and provocative experience. Through VIP service and services, haute cuisine, avant-garde design, unparalleled entertainment, proposals to take care of yourself, and more to discover from check-in to check-out, this exclusive refuge invites the most demanding travelers to break barriers, embrace the forbidden, and explore their most unexpected desires. All within an environment of maximum exclusivity and privacy.

One of the pillars of The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel’s proposal is its exquisite gastronomic offer. As the star culinary experience, in June the hotel will welcome its great novelty: Hell’s Kitchen Ibiza. The restaurant of the renowned international chef Gordon Ramsay, will arrive in Ibiza marking the debut of the Hell’s Kitchen brand in Spain and Europe. Destined to become a global reference, it will offer the recognizable aesthetics of the successful series of the same name, exceptional service, and some of the most emblematic and famous dishes of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants around the world.

Hell’s Kitchen Ibiza will join 5 other restaurants and bars of the hotel that are already a reference on the Balearic island: The Oyster & Caviar Bar, is not only the heart of the hotel, it is also the ideal place to enjoy the best oysters in Ibiza; The Beach, Unexpected Ibiza, specializing in Mediterranean cuisine and rice dishes in a most exclusive atmosphere on the beach, in the mornings it becomes “The Unexpected Breakfast” with an excellent breakfast proposal that awakens all the senses of those who dare to try it; and Minami Japanese Restaurant with an exquisite selection of sushi, sashimi, and other Asian delicacies and teppanyaki menu with show cooking.

The gastronomic journey of The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel is completed with Up Ibiza Sky Society, a spectacular rooftop overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy creative cocktails, premium drinks, and gourmet burgers in an unbeatable setting; and Antïdote Recharge Station, a perfect offer to take care of yourself and recharge your batteries with dishes and drinks for the healthiest, including Protein Shakes – perfect to complement workouts at the hotel’s new fitness center, The Body Hub.

If there is one thing that will set The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel apart, it is its groundbreaking entertainment proposal. Conceived in collaboration with Pablo Méndez as a visual and creative exhibition that combines dance, art, and fashion with the brand’s bold and extravagant tone, it offers the most unexpected experiences in any corner of the hotel.

Another of the main novelties that the hotel incorporates will be its fitness center, The Body Hub. Managed by OWN Studio, this innovative space offers a differentiating proposal that goes beyond traditional gym sessions, where personalisation and the constant challenge of limits are its hallmark. Thanks to an initial assessment, OWN’s team of professionals offers the guest a completely personalized experience adapted to their needs with tailor-made programs and private sessions.

The centre combines technology (with Technogym equipment), versatility and functionality, being ideal for both free training and directed and virtual classes (with up to 1,000 sessions of virtual activities). It has weight machines, cardiovascular training, a free weight area, the new Blazepod training system, with interactive lights that challenge the speed and reflexes of those who use it; as well as a boxing space that will be guided by the Ibizan and international medalist, Susana Torres. The Body Hub also combines global fitness trends (with activities such as HIIT, Stretching, Ground or Power) with the charms offered by the island of Ibiza, giving rise to yoga in front of the sea, among many other options.

And to continue taking care of yourself after a good training session, The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel has its XPA, with four massage cabins with revitalizing treatments that can also be enjoyed in reserved spaces at The Beach, Unexpected Ibiza and The Oyster & Caviar Bar; as well as a beauty salon, managed by Balato Ibiza, which has an extensive hair and nail care menu

Also in terms of design, The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel was born with a clear vocation to become a benchmark in innovation, design and architecture. The renovation project carried out to transform “The Ushuaïa Tower” into The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel, carried out by the Spanish studio “U Interior Design”, captures the essence of Ibiza as a destination of luxury, entertainment and wellness, and elevates the DNA of the new brand through a disruptive avant-garde, which boldly fuses geometric shapes,  refined lines and materials of the highest quality; technological lighting and an exclusive user-centric experience.

The opening of The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel will mark the debut of Palladium Hotel Group’s new brand, The Unexpected Hotels. Born as an evolution Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel under a new concept of disruptive luxury and with the aim of expanding internationally, in 2027 it will welcome its first project outside Spain with the opening of The Unexpected Al Marjan Island Hotel & Residences, on the island of Al Marjan in Ras Al Khaimah (United Arab Emirates).
