This Saturday, November 21st Telemundo Deportes to present live coverage of the repechaje match, C.D. Guadalajara vs. Club Necaxa. The single-elimination wild card round, will decide which of the two teams advance to LigaMX’s Guard1anes 2020 quarterfinals, presenting Las Chivas with their most important match yet. As part of Telemundo Deportes’ exclusive coverage of all Chivas de Guadalajara home matches, coverage of Chivas-Necaxa will be broadcasted live on Telemundo, streamed across Telemundo Deportes digital platforms, and complemented with pre-match
coverage on sister network, Universo. This Saturday, post-game coverage will be available on Telemundo, followed by additional analysis in TyM: Zona Mixta.
Coverage of the match will begin this Saturday at 9pm ET / 6pm PT with the Fútbol Estelar Chivas Extra pre-game show on Universo. Exclusive live match coverage will kick off at 10pm ET / 7pm PT on Telemundo with simultaneous coverage on TelemundoDeportes.com and the Telemundo Deportes App, directly followed by the Fútbol Estelar Chivas Extra post-game show, also on Telemundo. Additionally, NBC Sports (NBCSN) will present the game again in English on Sunday, November 22 at 5 pm ET / 2 pm PT.
Telemundo Deportes’ Miguel Gurwitz will again lead the Fútbol Estelar Chivas Extra pre- and post-match show alongside former Chivas star, Manuel Sol and Andres Cantor, who just last night won the Emmy for ‘Outstanding On-Air Personality in Spanish,’ his career sixth. The countdown to the game will feature an interview with Chivas captain, Jesús Molina; Chivas manager, Víctor Manuel Vucetich; and one of the team’s key players, Isaac Brizuela, while Telemundo Deportes host Ana Jurka’s ‘Fuera de Juego’ segment will present an intimate conversation with Chivas Femenil’s Miriam García. Andrés Cantor and Manuel Sol will also lead the narration of the match, along with field reporter Arantza Fernandez, of Chivas
TV.
Throughout Saturday’s coverage, fans will have the opportunity to participate in the network’s pre- and post-game shows via social media using #ChivasenTelemundo, as well as enjoy additional commentary on Telemundo’s TYM: Zona Mixta, hosted by Sammy Sadovnik and Manuel Sol and featuring the Chivas dedicated segment, “Junto al Rebaño.”
