Toast National Vodka Day With These Cocktail Recipes

Join the many vodka lovers that will be indulging today in what is also known as one of the world’s most versatile spirit. Although we don’t need an excuse to celebrate vodka, National Vodka Day started almost 8 years ago and since then, consumers gather to raise their glasses. Prairie Organic Spirits is a true farm-crafted spirit, made from single-sourced corn, and proudly made in America – grown on a handful of family-owned farms in Minnesota.
RED HAWK (above)
Ingredients:
· 1 ½ oz. Prairie Organic Vodka
· 1 ½ oz. pomegranate juice
· Fresh lemon juice
Directions:
· Combine Prairie Organic Vodka, pomegranate juice, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice
PRAIRIE AFTERNOON TIMEOUT
Ingredients:
· 1.5 oz. Prairie Organic Vodka
· .25 oz. simple syrup
· .25 oz. lemon juice, fresh squeezed
· 2 oz. peach lambic ale, to top
· 2 dashes of peach bitters, to top
· 5 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters
· 1 basil leaf, for garnish
· Ice cubes
Directions:
· Combine Prairie Organic Vodka, syrup and fresh lemon juice in shaker with ice.
· Strain into small cocktail coupe.
· Top with lambic ale & peach bitters.
· Carefully dash the Peychaud’s bitters so it floats on top of the cocktail and garnish with a basil leaf.
PRAIRIE HARVEST
Ingredients:
· 1.5 oz. Prairie Organic Vodka
· 4 oz. grapefruit juice
· 0.5 oz. maple syrup
· 2 dashes Angostura bitters
· Grapefruit twist, for garnish
Directions:
· Combine Prairie Organic Vodka, grapefruit juice, maple syrup & bitters in a cocktail shaker with ice.
· Shake & strain into a Collins glass over ice.
· Garnish with grapefruit twist.
