Toast Mom With These Delicious Mother’s Day Cocktails

This Mother’s Day, surprise mom with your mixology skills. Not only are these signature cocktails from Johnnie Walker, Tanqueray, The Singleton, Buchanan’s, CÎROC, I.W. Harper, Don Julio, and Baileys simple and delicious, but a perfect way to raise a toast to the incredible mother or mother-figure in your life.
BAILEYS COLADA (above)
Ingredients:
3.5oz Baileys Colada
2 cups Frozen Pineapple
Finely Chopped Coconut
Ice
Garnish: Slice of pineapple & leaves
Glassware: Hurricane Glass
Preparation: Into a blender add: 1-2 scoops of crushed Ice, 2 heaped cups of frozen pineapple, 3.5oz Baileys Colada. Blend to a smooth consistency. Dip rim of colada glass in chopped coconut.
STRONG KNOWS STRONG
Ingredients:
1.5oz Jane Walker by Johnnie Walker
.5oz Darjeeling tea syrup
.75oz Fresh lemon juice
1 dash Aromatic bitters
2 ounces Ginger beer
Garnish: Candied Ginger
Glassware: Highball Glass
Preparation: Combine Jane Walker, tea syrup, lemon juice, and Angostura Bitters in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake. Prepare a highball glass with cubed ice and pour 2 ounces of ginger beer into the glass. Strain the cocktail over the ginger beer into the glass. Enjoy!
GARDEN SPRITZ

Ingredients:
1.5oz Tanqueray No. TEN
.75oz Hibiscus Syrup (.5oz if you would like more dry)*
Club Soda
Garnish: Grapefruit Slice
Glassware: Copa Glass
Method: Build ingredients in glass. Add ice. Top with club soda and stir. Garnish with grapefruit slice.
*Hibiscus Syrup:
- Seep 1-2 hibiscus tea bags in 1 cup of hot water
- After 5 minutes, remove tea bags
- Add one cup of sugar and stir until it dissolves
- Syrup can be refrigerated for up to one month
MAID IN SCOTLAND
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Singleton 12 Year Old
.75 oz Lime Juice
.5 oz Simple Syrup
3 Slices of Cucumber
3 to 4 Mint Leaves
Glassware: Rocks Glass
Garnish: Cucumber, Mint
Preparation: Add all ingredients into a shaker, gently muddle the cucumber and mint. Add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass and garnish.
BUCHANAN’S CRANBERRY CORAZÓN
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Buchanan’s DeLuxe
2 oz tart cranberry juice
1 oz fresh pink grapefruit juice
½ oz honey simple syrup (1:1 honey and hot water, cooled)
3 dashes lavender bitters
Top with 1-2 oz chilled dry sparkling rosé
Glassware: Large 8 oz coupe
Garnish: Floating cranberries, slice of pink grapefruit, and sprig of lavender
Preparation: Shake together bitters, whisky, cranberry and grapefruit juice, and simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Prep your glass by rubbing the edge with lavender sprig, then strain cocktail mixture into it, top with champagne, and garnish with cranberries and lavender sprig.
CÎROC SUMMER CITRUS SPRITZ
Ingredients:
1.5 oz CÎROC Summer Citrus
3 oz Club Soda
Splash of Prosecco/Champagne
1 oz Cranberry juice
Glassware: Highball or rocks
Garnish: Orange Wheel
Preparation: Add all ingredients into a highball filled with ice. Gently stir and garnish.
I.W HARPER RESERVE
Ingredients:
1.5 fl oz I.W. Harper Bourbon Whiskey
1 dash Orange Bitters
1 dash Aromatic Bitters
1 bar spoon Vanilla Liqueur
1 bar spoon Coffee Demerara
Glassware: Ice-Filled Old-Fashioned Glass
Garnish: Orange Peel, 3 Coffee Beans
Preparation: Combine all ingredients in an old-fashioned glass, add ice, stir.
BLOOD ORANGE MARGARITA

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Don Julio Blanco
1oz Mexican Lime Juice
2oz Blood Orange Juice
1 bar spoon superfine sugar
Ice
Glassware: Rocks Glass
Garnish: Dehydrated blood orange and Mexican lime wheel
Instructions:
- Build ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Hard shake and salt rim margarita glass. Pour over ice into a rocks glass and garnish with dehydrated blood orange and Mexican lime wheel.
