Toast To Mother’s Day With These Cocktails

Whether Mom’s getting pampered, relaxing, or spending time with family on her special day, show that you’re thinking of her this year by treating her to one of our “Mom-Approved” cocktails. As Mother’s Day quickly approaches, here are cocktails recipes from Basil Hayden’s Bourbon, Laphroaig Single Malt Scotch, Cruzan Rum, and Effen Vodka. Enjoy!

 

Basil Hayden’s Lemon Julep  (above)
Recipe by TJ Vong (Denver, CO)

INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ parts Basil Hayden’s Bourbon
¾ parts elderflower liqueur
1 part lemon juice
¾ parts simple syrup
4 mint leaves
Soda water
Lemon wheel (for garnish)

METHOD:
Muddle three mint leaves in a rocks glass and add remaining ingredients in order, excluding soda water. Fill the glass with crushed ice and top with soda water. Gently stir ingredients with a bar or mixing spoon. Garnish with lemon wheel and mint sprig

B Cruzan Blueberry Lemonade Lush (Copy)

Cruzan Blueberry Lemonade Lush

INGREDIENTS:
2 part Cruzan® Blueberry Lemonade Rum
2 parts lemonade
Splash of lemon-lime soda

METHOD:
Build in a Mason® jar over ice. Add Cruzan® Blueberry Lemonade Rum, lemonade, and lemon-lime soda. Garnish with blueberries and a lemon wedge.

B Effen rosemary-blush (Copy)

EFFEN Rosemary Blush

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 parts EFFEN Cucumber Vodka
1/2 part fresh lemon juice
1/2 part simple syrup
1/2 part Lillet Rose
1 dash grapefruit bitters

METHOD:
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass and shake. Strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass and garnish with rosemary.

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 parts Laphroaig Select Scotch Whisky
1/2 part Drambuie Liquor
1 part bordeaux red wine
3 dashes orange bitters
Orange peel (for garnish)

METHOD:
Add all ingredients together in a mixing glass with ice and stir. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass (served up). Garnish with a flamed orange twist
