Univision’s “Premios Juventud” has announced the artists who will be honored with this year’s “Agents of Change” award, which recognizes individuals using their star power for a good cause. Also named is the first round of stellar performers for the main show.
The 17^th edition of #PremiosJuventud will take place on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. CT).

This year #PremiosJuventud will recognize global music superstar Ricky Martin with the “Agent of Change” award for his activism and renowned efforts through the Ricky Martin Foundation, before and during the pandemic, keeping the community safe and informed using his platforms. Additionally, Latin star Becky G will also be honored with the prestigious award for her active role leading social change.

In a world that’s in constant change, music is forever and #PremiosJuventud celebration of Latin music, culture and everyday heroes is adding actress and activist Julissa Calderon and Latin music sensation Sebastián Yatra as host for the three-hour show. They join the previously announced hosts Ana Patricia Gámez, Francisca Lachapel and Borja Voces.

The first round of stars announced to perform in this edition of #PremiosJuventud are Anuel AA, Rauw Alejandro, Neto Bernal, Camilo, Natti Natasha, Gloria Trevi, Manuel Turizo and Jay Wheeler.

• Rauw Alejandro and Camilo – Two of the hottest artists of the summer will perform their hit “Tatoo Remix,” which has reached over 55M views online. Alejandro and Camilo have 2 nominations each.
• Anuel AA – The popular reggaeton singer and one of the most nominated artists of the night will deliver an unforgettable performance. Anuel has 7 nominations.
• Neto Bernal – The young and vibrant emerging Mexican regional singer who performed at #PJLiveEnCasa this summer. Bernal has 1 nomination.

• Natti Natasha – The singer-songwriter will keep the celebration going with a special performance. Natasha has 3 nominations.
• Gloria Trevi – Latin music star Gloria Trevi will take the stage for a memorable presentation.
• Manuel Turizo – The reggaeton star’s new single “Quiereme Mientras Se Pueda” has reached over 20M views online this summer. Turizo has 5 nominations.
• Jay Wheeler – The young rising star will perform for the first time on #PremiosJuventud and will bring with him his romantic reggaetón flow to the big stage.

Univision will be bringing back its annual summer youth award show #PremiosJuventud in a different and innovative way, keeping safety top of mind. Given the current circumstances imposed by COVID-19, Univision will follow strict guidelines and restrictions, in full compliance with local authorities and public health recommendations, to implement this year’s show.
