The latest Team Wolverine members all found a job in the trades that aligns with their interests thanks to Wolverine Project Bootstrap. Additionally, the brand is closing out the year by introducing several new styles, including the BLVD Collection, and The Limited-Edition Wolverine 1000 Mile x Sword & Plough. From now until November 12, 2019, Wolverine will donate 100% of proceeds of this limited-edition boot to Operation Finally Home, a non-profit organization that builds mortgage free homes for veterans.
Wolverine BLVD Collection is the fashionable new offering from the respected brand. It delivers serious style with the trusted know how of the makers of America’s original work boot. From day to night, work to play, these boots have you covered at every step. Wolverine BLVD offer four styles – Plain Toe, Cap Toe, Pull On, and Chelsea.
All boots use premium materials, including rich, full-grain leathers and a supple, sheepskin lining that provides immediate comfort that gets better with age. The other new style from Wolverine is The Limited-Edition Wolverine 1000 Mile x Sword & Plough. This boot is handcrafted in the USA paying homage to traditional military boot style and those who have served in them. Based on the Original 1000 Mile boot pattern from 1914, the limited-edition boot
Sword & Plough is a veteran-owned, social impact fashion brand that donates 10% of profits to veteran organizations while empowering and employing veterans throughout the process. Marine boots in World War II were made with the same Natural Marine leather, designed to be used flesh side out because the material was soft enough that the boots could be worn without socks. This was highly advantageous for Marines in desert areas as they were able to easily empty their boots of sand, reducing blisters and increasing comfort.
This boot also uses Goodyear Welt Construction, has a Vibram Pittsburgh outsole, speed hooks, and full coyote laces to complete the look of a military inspired boot with contemporary styling.
