Wonder Bread made its Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade debut in the 2022 Parade, with an all-new float that celebrated the brand’s 101st anniversary known as The Wondership.

The float’s airship design is a tribute to the hot air balloon race that originally inspired Wonder’s branding, reigniting the feelings of “wonder” that founder Elmer Cline experienced more than a century ago.

The 35-foot long and three-story tall Wondership is propelled along the Parade route by the famed red, yellow, and blue balloons and powered by confetti to inspire all to keep looking up.

You can check out the Wondership’s whimsical appearance during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade taking place November 28, 8:30AM – Noon, airing live on NBC | Peacock.

The Temptations

Joining the Wondership this year will be the timeless Temptations. Often referred to as American Music Royalty they are world-renowned superstars of entertainment, revered for their wide ranging catalog of music and prolific career.

As you watch the Parade here’s a recipe you can enjoy to make the Thanksgiving meal even more special.
No Thanksgiving plate is complete without a classic serving of stuffing. And this side dish is easy to put together, making it a favorite for home chefs everywhere.

Wonder Bread Stuffing

Ingredients:

1 loaf of Wonder Classic White Bread

1/2 cup unsalted butter

3 cup chopped onion

2-1/2 cup chopped celery

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

1-1/2 Tbsp chopped fresh sage

1-1/2 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme

2 tsp celery seeds

Pinch of grated nutmeg

Pinch of ground cloves

1 tsp Kosher salt

1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1-1/2 cup low-salt chicken broth

Preparations:

1.     In a large skillet over medium heat, melt half the butter. Add onion, celery, garlic, sage, thyme, celery seeds, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.

2.     Cover and cook until onions are soft, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.

3.     In a large bowl, toss the sautéed vegetables with bread cubes and season with pepper. Melt the remaining butter and pour over stuffing along with broth, then toss to coat.

4.     Bake covered at 325° F until heated through, about 50 minutes. For a crisp top, uncover for the last 15 minutes of baking.
Enjoy.
