With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, here are some romantic cocktail recipes to celebrate the holiday. Now may be the time to spruce up your bartender skills, and show your thoughtfulness with a beautiful, delicious cocktail. Enjoy these tasty recipes prepared with Mijenta Tequila and Equiano Rum.

Mijenta
Love at First Sight

INGREDIENTS

1.5 part Mijenta Tequila Blanco

.75 part Honey Syrup

1 part Lime juice

.25 part Acai Liqueur

1 bar spoon Yellow Chartreuse

METHOD

Shake and strain into a rocks glass with crushed ice.

Garnish with fresh berries and mint

Love Machine

INGREDIENTS

1.5 part Mijenta Tequila Reposado

.5 part Clasico

.5 part Sour Orange Puree

.5 part Vanilla Syrup

.5 part Lemon Juice

.5 part Aquafava

METHOD

Shake and strain into a highball glass, top with club soda.

Garnish with some lime zest.

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Equiano

1 oz sweet vermouth (preferably Caprano Antica)

½  tsp maraschino liquor

1 dash angostura bitter

Orange twist to serve

METHOD

Combine ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker.

Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled glass.

Garnish with an orange twist.
