“Latin Music Queens” steps inside the lives of three Latin music performers, Thalía, Farina and Sofia Reyes, as they come together to release new music and reveal intimate stories about their personal and professional lives. New episodes air every Thursday at 6pm PT/9pm ET exclusively on Facebook Watch.

The series produced by The Mottola Company Inc. with Tommy Mottola serving as executive producer. Thalía serves as executive producer, along with eOne and Sony Music Latin. Tara Long, Mark Herwick, Alex Gallardo, Afo Verde, Alex Davies, Melissa Bidwell also serve as executive producers.

Following the successful premiere of Latin Music Queens, Facebook Watch’s newest docuseries  will air the second episode this Thursday, October 1 at 6PM PT/9PM ET.  Season finale is on October 29.

Explored throughout this episode titled “I’m Not a Hot Tamale,” Thalia, Farina and Sofía reveal the unique struggles and disappointment they’ve experienced as women in the Latin music industry as they collaborate on the next big single.

Throughout her iconic career, Thalia has always been known as an inspirational artist. She is a singer/songwriter, actress, author, fashion designer and social-media influencer. Her telenovelas have been translated in several languages and have aired in more than 180 countries with a viewership of more than two billion people worldwide. Thalia has had 30 Top 10 singles – 17 of which went No. 1 – and she has sold over 50 million records worldwide, making her one of the bestselling Latina artists of all time.

On a philanthropic level, Thalia is a national spokesperson for the MARCH OF DIMES and a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador to Mexico. She also is a supporter of CASITA MARIA, an afterschool program and facility serving primarily Hispanic children of the South Bronx, as well as The Robinhood Foundation and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Farina, is one of these rare artists who through her poetic songwriting, edgy command of storytelling, ability to sing and rap while flawlessly weaving dancehall, reggae, reggaetón, trap, rap, pop and folklore genres with the sensibility and vulnerability of a woman’s perspective giving life to her persona La Nena Fina.

Born in Medellin, Colombia, a country that has produced some of the brightest stars to come out of Latin America, Farina, which in Arabic means “unique” and Pao (her surname) the Chinese meaning for “wrap around”, refers to her maternal and paternal ancestry and a diverse combination of cultures and heritage that are at the core of her artistry.

Farina “La Nena Fina” who in a short period of time has become a triple-threat, dominating music, television and fashion is poised to move into the biggest phase yet of her career. With talent, charisma and youthfulness she is set to become the next Latina global superstar.

At only 24-years-old, Sofia Reyes is a successful singer and songwriter who has already been nominated twice to the Latin American Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, Latin GRAMMYs, Premios Juventud among many others. She has more than one billion views on YouTube and more than two billion global streams. Sofia is the most streamed Female Mexican singer on Spotify with over 10 million monthly listeners.

Born in Monterrey, Mexico, at age 16, she decided to move to Los Angeles with her independent label Bakab Records, under the wings of Charlie Guerrero and Paloma Hecht ( MITH Media ) and start her solo career after leaving Tao, the girl band where she started. Sofia shared her original music and covers through YouTube and the popularity of these videos caught the attention of Warner Music Latina, which in partnership with D’Leon Records (Prince Royce’s record label) and Sofia’s independent label, would boost her career.

Sofia has also become a fashion icon since the beginning of her career, getting the attention of all fashion critics in red carpets; from E!Online, to Billboard, Perez Hilton and US Weekly, they have chosen her among the best dressed in different events.
