Fall Cocktails From Hendrick’s Gin And Milagro Tequila

There are many reasons to enjoy a cocktail this month. In addition to welcoming the cooler weather and celebrating the start of spooky season with Halloween at the end of the month, there’s also International Gin & Tonic Day (10/19). Check below for delicious cocktails recipes from  Hendrick’s Gin for fun twists to Gin & Tonics. And Milagro Tequila’s aged tequila variants – Reposado and Añejo – are ideal for transitioning to fall as they offer a richer flavor that’s perfect for cocktails or simply sipping on its own to complement the cozy atmosphere of fall and winter gatherings.

It makes sense considering this combination of flavors dates back to the Aztecs as they incorporated them into their hot chocolate centuries ago, so this pairing has stood the test of time. Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic 

  • Ingredients:
      • 1 part Hendrick’s Gin 
      • 3 parts Premium Tonic Water 
      • 3 rounds of Cucumber Cucumber to Garnish
  • Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a highball glass filled with cubed ice and lightly stir. Garnish with 3 thinly sliced rounds of cucumber and serve.

Hendrick’s Supersonic Gin & Tonic

  • Ingredients:
      • 1 bar spoon Simple Syrup 
      • 1 part Fresh Espresso (left to go cold) 
      • 2 parts Premium Tonic Water 
      • Cucumber to Garnish
  • Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a highball glass filled with cubed ice and lightly stir. Garnish with 3 thinly sliced rounds of cucumber and serve.

Spiked Pumpkin Spice Lattes

Milagro’s Spiced Pumpkin Miracle

  • Ingredients:
      • 2 parts Milagro Reposado 
      • 1 part Lemon juice 
      • 1 part Orgeat (Liquid Alchemist) 
      • 1 part Pumpkin puree Garnish
      • Smoked cinnamon stick 
      • 2 star anise
  • Preparation: Add all ingredients to shaker, shake for 10 seconds to allow all ingredients to dissolve. Finally strain into a tall glass with fresh ice, garnish and enjoy

Milagro’s Otoño

  • Ingredients:
      • 1½ parts Milagro Reposado 
      • 1 part pumpkin syrup (Real syrup) 
      • 1½ parts spiced chai black tea 
      • ½ part Almond milk
  • Preparation: Build in shaker. Add ice and shake for 5 seconds. Then pour over ice in a rocks glass. Finally, garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Optional, you can smoke the cocktail.

Swicy Hot Chocolate A.K.A. Sweet & Spicy 

Milagro’s Café Ala Mexicana

  • Ingredients
  • 1½ parts Milagro Anejo
  • 4 Parts Fresh Brewed Coffee
  • 1 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 Part Heavy Cream
  • 1 Pinch Chili Flakes
  • Whipped Cream
  • Preparation: Pour all the ingredients, except chili flakes, in a clear mug or other drink vessel suitable for hot beverages. Stir and top with whipped cream and chili flakes.

Milagro’s Spiced Hot Chocolate 

  • Ingredients:
  • 3 Parts Taza Guajillo Chili Chocolate Heavy Cream 
      • 1 Pinch Chilli Powder
      • Chocolate Shavings
  • Preparation: Pour all ingredients into a mug and stir. Top with whipped cream and chili chocolate shavings.

Hendrick’s Autumn Apple Snap

  • Ingredients:
      • 1½ parts Hendrick’s Gin
      • ¾ Part Lemon Juice
      • ¾ Part Apple Juice or Apple Cider
      • Top with Ginger Beer 
      • Garnish with Apple Slides & Nutmeg
  • Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a highball glass filled with cubed ice and lightly churn. 

Mulled Harvest Cider 

  • Ingredients:
      • 1½ parts Hendrick’s Gin
      • ¼ part Honey
      • 2 parts Apple Cider
      • 2 parts Spicy Ginger Tea 
      • Orange Twist and Cinnamon Stick to Garnish
  • Preparation: Gently heat first 3 ingredients in a saucepan then add 2 parts spicy ginger tea. Serve warm in a tankard or teacup and garnish with an orange twist and cinnamon stick.

Unusual Martini

Quespresso Milagro Martini

  • Ingredients:
    • 2 parts Milagro Anejo 
    • ½ part Agave 
    • 3 Parts Espresso 
    • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Preparation: Add all ingredients to shaker, shake for 5-8 seconds, strain into coupe glass, top with grated parmesan cheese, and enjoy.

Warm Cocktails

Milagro’s Hot Toddy

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 Part Agave Nectar
    • 4 Cloves
    • 1 Cinnamon Stick
    • 1 Whole Anise Star
    • 4 Parts Boiling Water
    • 1 Lemon
  • Preparation: Combine agave nectar, spices and Milagro Añejo in a heat-resistant snifter or mug. Add the boiling water. Squeeze the lemon, drop it in, and stir until agave nectar has melted.

Hendrick’s Hot Gin Old Fashioned

  • Ingredients: 
  • ¼ parts Sugar Syrup 
  • 3 Dashes of Orange Bitters 
  • 2 parts Boiling Water 
  • Garnish with a twist of orange
  • Preparation: Gently heat first 3 ingredients in a pan. Add 50ml Boiling Water Serve in a tankard or teacup and garnish with an orange twist.

Hendrick’s Mr. Micawber’s Hot Gin Punch

  • Ingredients:
      • 4 Parts Madeira Wine
  • 2 Teaspoons of Brown Sugar 
  • Peel from 1 whole lemon and 1 whole orange 
  • 1 Slice of Orange 4 Chunks of Pineapple 
  • 4 Teaspoons of Honey Pinch of Nutmeg, Cinnamon, and Orange 
  • Cloves to Garnish

Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a small pot and simmer gently for 30 minutes. Pour into a teapot and serve warm in teacups with gingerbread on the side.
