Baires Grill, the acclaimed Argentine steakhouse is truly the place where fútbol meets fire-grilled flavor. The restaurant recently celebrated the first anniversary of its New York City location with an exciting new cocktail menu, and the announcement of an exclusive partnership with the Argentine Football Association (AFA).
Baires Grill New York fuses Argentina’s passion for fútbol and asado under one roof.
“We are immensely proud to bring a piece of Argentina to New York, and this partnership is a natural extension of our commitment to excellence, heritage and hospitality,” said Baires Grill New York General Manager Tobias Trullet Airola. “This is more than a restaurant – it’s an evening to experience Argentina’s passion, tradition and global impact through food and culture.”
The newly unveiled and a special edition cocktail lineup, inspired by the country’s flavors, colors and sporting icons, headlines any celebration. Baires Grill also unveiled its first-ever in-house beer, both paying homage to the country’s rich culinary and sporting legacy.
Highlights of the highly anticipated cocktail menu include: The Mate Martini, a bold twist on the timeless classic infusing the Argentinian-native yerba mate with dry vermouth and a hint of herbal Cynar, balanced with a touch of simple syrup and finished with a dried lime garnish.
The Sol de Mayo, inspired by the Argentine flag, dazzles with layers of tropical Malibu, citrusy blue curaçao, and velvety white chocolate liquor, crowned with a golden flourish and basil leaf.
The Torrontes Aperol Spritz is an Argentinian take on a summer classic with Aperol, St. Germain and Torrontés wine, a popular wine made in Argentina with white grapes. The curated lineup of sips pairs perfectly with Baires’ menu of over 70 dishes, including high-quality meat cuts that the brand is known for.
The partnership positions Baires as more than a dining destination, but as a beacon of Argentine culture and identity. By aligning with AFA, the institution behind Argentina’s three-time World Cup-winning national team, Baires celebrates not only world class cuisine, but the shared national pride that unites food and fútbol.
Just in time for game season, the new culinary offerings will immerse guests in the energy of Argentina, from curated dishes and cocktails to special Baires and AFA merchandise to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
