This Halloween, Magic Hour is going to the dark side. From now through Halloween, the 18th-floor rooftop is getting a spellbinding makeover as Dark Magic Hour, a month-long installation where wishes come with consequences.
The seductively glamorous escape begins on the West Terrace, where Magic Hour’s iconic carousel transforms into an over the top haunting Wishing Willow Tree, inviting guests into a spooky alcove to make a wish, surrounded by floating candles, tarot cards, mysterious spells and gothic details.
Guests will then indulge in a menu of cocktails and desserts inspired by the experience, including the Be Careful What You Wish For cocktail ($21), made with Watchpost Whiskey, Campari, sweet vermouth and blood orange, and finished with a chocolate Wishing Willow, alongside a Midnight Margarita ($20) made with Astral Blanco Tequila, agave and lime, infused with “dark secrets.”
On the sweeter side, the Magic Hour Wishing Willow ($18) combines peanut butter, hazelnut praline, dark chocolate and cookie crumbs, while the Bloody Chocolate Fondue ($26) comes loaded with white chocolate, strawberries, marshmallows, gummies and graham crackers. A Devil’s Cupcake ($12), made with chocolate cake, vanilla frosting and strawberry filling, rounds out the lineup.
