reMarkable paper tablet users will soon be able to send their handwritten ideas directly to Miro the AI innovation workspace for teams, thanks to a new partnership between the two companies.

With Send to Miro, a new feature launching for Connect subscribers this month, reMarkable users can brainstorm freely on the blank sheet that their paper tablets offer. A tap then moves notes and sketches to Miro, where AI turns them into digital text and diagrams, ready for teams to build and improve on.

“At Miro we’re maniacally focused on accelerating team ideas into AI-powered outcomes,” said Jeff Chow, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Miro. “Our partnership with reMarkable allows us to take a step forward and merge offline and online ideation into a seamless interaction. Now, no matter where an idea comes from, teams can be collaborative and benefit from Miro’s AI Innovation Workspace.”

Send to Miro is the latest example of reMarkable’s approach to AI, where the technology works in the background to reinforce — but not replace — human, original thought. Like recent updates such as Send to Slack and Create a link, Send to Miro targets a specific pain point associated with moving between pen and paper and laptops during the workday.

“Inspiration can strike at any moment, but typing up handwritten notes can be a hassle,” said Phil Hess, CEO of reMarkable. “With Send to Miro, you get all the benefits of pen and paper as part of your digital workflow. It’s another way we’re making our paper tablets your laptop’s closest companion.”

Send to Miro launches with the release of reMarkable OS 3.26, is now rolling out to paper tablet users.
