Tequila Don Julio and renowned Mexican designer Patricio Campillo officially unveiled the latest Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino Artist Edition Bottle during Campillo’s Spring/Summer 2027 runway show at New York Fashion Week. The new limited-edition bottle marks the first collaboration between Don Julio and Campillo, bringing his distinctive creative perspective to the brand’s Artist Edition series and celebrating the enduring connection between Mexican heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary design.
Inspired by El Puente Eterno (The Eternal Bridge), Tequila Don Julio’s new global Día de Muertos campaign, the bottle draws from the symbolism of the cempasúchil(marigold) bridge, believed to guide loved ones home during the holiday. Campillo’s original artwork depicts two souls reunited through the depth and clarity of Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino, with the liquid itself becoming a metaphorical bridge between them. The design captures the idea that love transcends time and distance, bringing the emotional meaning of Día de Muertos into a contemporary expression of Mexican culture.
Inside the bottle is the same award-winning Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino, the world’s first Cristalino Añejo Tequila, combining the rich complexity of an Añejo with the clarity and crisp agave flavor of a Blanco. The limited-edition 750ml bottle is now available at select retailers nationwide (see HERE) and online at TheBar.com, ReserveBar and Caskers for an SRP of $69.99.
The New York Fashion Week debut marked the first public expression of El Puente Eterno, bringing together more than 200 tastemakers, press, influencers and celebrities, including DANNA, Valentina Ferrer, Jesus Ortiz, Elena Reygadas, Soleon, Dani Shultz, Eduardo Holguin and more to celebrate the new collaboration. Set against the East River and Brooklyn Bridge at New York’s Downtown Manhattan Heliport, the evening brought the campaign’s themes of connection, remembrance and Mexican heritage to life through a striking cempasúchil-inspired crossing, signature Tequila Don Julio cocktails, including a specialty cocktail created by Bar Mauro, ranked No. 1 in Mexico on The World’s 50 Best Bars list, and a celebration of Campillo’s latest collection and Artist Edition Bottle.
