Sarah Boisjoli: Joe’s Bar NYC
Boisjoli began her beverage career as a fourteen year old working her way from slinging milkshakes and egg creams at a fifties diner to running a high volume east village bar at the age of eighteen. She learned the ins and outs of the New York City bar scene and landed at the The Stanton Social in 2010 where she began developing cocktails for the popular restaurant and nightlife establishment. While there, she was the spokes person for the cocktail program working with Esquire, Martha Stewart Radio, Cosmopolitan and InStyle. Boisjoli’s success at The Stanton Social lead to an opportunity to create the opening cocktail menu’s for TAO Downtown and Asia de Cuba, as well as develop cocktails for national brands including Don Julio tequila, Bombay Sapphire Gin and Ron Zacapa Rum. These days, she can be found behind the stick and developing cocktails at a critically acclaimed downtown Manhattan restaurant and curating the seventies inspired cocktail program at Joe’s cocktail bar on the Upper West Side.
