Multi-platinum, award-winning singer, songwriter, actress, and activist Becky G  has received a total of nine nominations for the 8th annual Latin American Music Awards, making her the most nominated female artist this year. The Latin AMA’s will air live on Univision, UNIMÁS and Galavisión on Thursday, April 20th at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. 

The recent nominations add to the the 26-year-old global superstar’s long list of achievements including four Latin GRAMMY nominations, four number one hits on the Billboard Latin Airplay Charts (“Mayores, “Sin Pijama,”“MAMIII,” and “BAILÉ CON MI EX“), and her debut album Mala Santa (October 2019) is certified 8X Platinum in the United States, Platinum in Spain, and Gold in Mexico, putting Becky at over 8.9 billion global career streams to date.

Becky G’s Latin AMA nominations include, Song of the Year, Collaboration of the Year & Best Collaboration – Pop/Urban for her collaboration with Karol G on “MAMIII,”  Album of the Year & Best Album – Pop for her 2022 sophomore album ESQUEMAS, Best Song for “BAILÉ CON MI EX,” Best Collaboration – Regional Mexican for her collaboration with Marca MP on “Ya Acabó,” as well as Artist of the Year & Best Artist – Pop.

Last week, Becky released her single “Arranca” featuring Omega with the music video accumulating 1.8 Million views on YouTube and 3.6M total streams.

Earlier this month, Becky received the Billboard Women in Music Impact Award for using her music and platform to create positive social change while advocating on behalf of women both in, and beyond, the music industry.

Next month, Becky will return to the desert, this time for her own headlining Coachella debut for both weekend one and two of the highly anticipated festival. Becky returns to Coachella after making her festival debut last year when she surprised fans to perform her smash hit single “MAMIII” with Karol G.
