At a recent media event held in Manhattan, audiomaker KEF unveiled their new LSX speaker. This expands upon the legacy of the brand’s signature LS50 Wireless speaker, offering greater innovation, big beautiful studio sound, and a more sleek, compact design.

The LSX speaker, designed by award winning British industrial designer Michael Young, is a true symbol of understated elegance, down to the speaker cabinets, which are clad in 5 luxury fabric colorways (burgundy, black, high-gloss white, blue, and olive) by Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat.

This speaker will retail for $1100 for the pair and be available through KEF Direct, Amazon, Magnolia Design Center, as well as other participating KEF authorized dealers.

During the media preview we were able to get a first listen to the sound produced by these compact speakers, as well as an up-close look at each of the speaker colorways and cabinets. Billboard’s Taylor Weatherby also led a Live Q&A with KEF Global Ambassador Johan Coorg and singer/songwriter Tyler Hilton. Hilton followed up the Q&A session with a live performance, previewing new tracks from his upcoming album, City On Fire, which releases in January 2019.For more information about KEF and the launch of the new LSX speaker, please visit www.kef.com
