To stay a step ahead of the competition Patrón is launching the #SimplyPerfect Cabanas Experience. We had a chance to experience the innovative initiative during a lively reception at 1 Hotel Brooklyn, overlooking the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge.

The Patrón #SimplyPerfect Summer Cabanas experience offers exclusive access to a unique menu of Patrón Summer cocktails and specialty food pairings, all through voice-activated command with Amazon Alexa. With this pioneering technology, Alexa acts as your personal cabana server and provides you and your crew with the ultimate poolside experience – including a variety of Patrón cocktails that go beyond the timeless margarita. Guests will also receive custom Patrón poolside gear to complete THE VIP cabana experience of the summer.

Now through Labor Day, guests can #PassThePatron poolside at the #SimplyPerfect Summer Cabanas in Miami at the Faena, The Mondrian, and 1 Hotel South Beach.

Not in Miami? No problem. For those at home, you can create the perfect cabana cocktail right in your kitchen through the “Ask Patrón” feature on smart home devices like Alexa and Google Home, which provides cocktail suggestions, tips, gift recommendations and tequila facts to help perfect at-home entertaining.

As of yesterday, the cabanas experience is officially available at The Mondrian, 1 Hotels Brooklyn South Beach and Faena. I’ve included details below about the experience and how the technology works. Let me know if you’re working on anything that you could see this being a fit for. It’s not every day that you can order Patrón by simply saying “Alexa, Pass the Patrón!”

  • In order to sip pool-side at the Patrón #SimplyPerfect Summer Cabanas, guests can go online via the account website to book their cabana or call to reserve. Be sure to ask for the Patrón #SimplyPerfect Summer Cabana!
    • NOTE: For Faena, consumers must be a hotel guest in order to book this experience 
• Technology

• • Each private cabana will be outfitted with an Amazon Echo device that walks guests through the order process and even recommends food and beverages
  • Just say something like, “Alexa, can I order a Patrón & Tonic?” and your refreshing cocktail will arrive at your cabana without you ever leaving the comfort of your oasis (or waiting for that busy server!).

    

Not in Miami, How Can I Use This At Home? 

• Step 1: Enable the skill on your Amazon Echo or Google Home app by searching for Patrón Tequila
• Step 2: Start the conversation by saying “Ok Google, talk to Patrón…” or “Ok Alexa, ask Patron” to search for cabana inspired recipes based on flavor, occasion, type or product.
