It’s starting to feel like springtime in New York City, a perfect time to head to Rockefeller Center for some outdoor – or indoor dining. And if you’re looking to complete a memorable experience head to Limani New York, a truly standout dining destination for New Yorkers and tourists alike.

With seafood and a Mediterranean diet being a favorite to get in shape for spring, Limani New York is in vogue for the warm days ahead.

Limani New York Executive Chef M.J.. Alam

Executive Chef/Partner M.J. Alam’s menu spotlights his seafood and Mediterranean specialties such as, Tunisian Octopus, which could arguably be the best octopus served in the city, grilled and dressed with virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar. Not to be missed is the whole fish.

A showstopping offering is the irresistibly flaky and buttery Branzino, which is encased in salt and served tableside. Shellfish can be enjoyed with dishes such as Head-On Carabineiros from Spain and the 2.5-pound Lobster from Nova Scotia, which is charcoal grilled with Limani’s homemade olive oil and lemon sauce. Limani’s raw bar selection features Blue Point Oysters, Big-Eye Tuna Tartare with micro basil, serrano chili and an orange slice, and Mediterranean Ceviche, Lavraki infused with lime and fresh herbs, paired with gigantes beans and feta cheese.

A favorite dining destination for the SNL cast, Limani New York’s outdoor dining is a lovely setting! It offers a great view of Rockefeller Center, spacious seating, accommodates 46—a setting that showcases how spectacular New York City truly is.  Perfect for lunch before taking in some 5th Avenue window shopping and pre- or post-theater dining, there’s lots to do in the neighborhood.

Indoor dining is equally impressive. Upon entering, guests will find themselves whisked away to the islands of Greece. Marked by beautiful white marble, one will find an expansive dining room with high ceilings and white leather seating perfectly spaced out to ensure the safety of all patrons. A long marble bar is flanked on the right side of the restaurant and a beautiful blue infinity pool, where a fish mobile gives the illusion of twirling overhead.

Limani New York is open for lunch Monday to Saturday from 12 pm – 3 pm and for dinner from Monday through Thursday from 3 pm – 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 3 pm – 11 pm, and on Sundays from 3 pm – 10 pm.  Limani also offers an extensive global wine list  and refreshing cocktails that pair well with Chef Alam’s menu.

Limani is a colossal, white 8,000 square foot venue seating almost 200 people in its main dining area and two private dining rooms with  additional outdoor seating available for the spring and summer months.
