Segway, a global leader in the micromobility and LEV space, just introduced its expanded electric bicycle (e-bike) lineup at CES (North Hall, booth 9615) along with an all-new electric dirt bike (e-dirt bike).
The two new e-bikes, Myon and Muxi, are aimed at a broader market segment than Xyber and Xafari, the brand’s debut e-bikes introduced at last year’s CES. Both Myon and Muxi continue to integrate and improve upon Segway’s already impressive suite of smart tech as well as add features and accessories designed to integrate seamlessly with its e-bikes and enhance the rider experience. The brand also promises a new level of customization and modularity.
Myon and Muxi each benefit from Segway’s Intelligent Ride System (full details below), which features advanced security features like Apple Find My and AirLock proximity locking/unlocking, an all-new Lost Mode* that allows users to remotely disable the e-bike and/or battery if stolen, Over the Air (OTA) update support for six systems, a full-color, HD TFT display, an intelligent lighting system with auto headlights, and real-time health and fitness data app syncing. An upgraded Algorithm 2.0 uses advanced sensors and ultra-fast processing for more refined adaptive assist with gradual power application that closely matches inputs. The result is a more smooth, natural pedal feel and response without jerky starts or dead zones.
“With technology that combines Segway original innovations with safety and convenience features inspired by the automotive industry, we believe our new e-bikes represent a leap forward in terms of the rider experience,” says Nick Howe, head of e-bike at Segway.
“For people who aren’t already cyclists, e-bikes can seem confusing or intimidating. The technologies we’re integrating are designed to lower the barrier to entry and make cycling genuinely accessible for everyone. Technology should make things simpler, not the other way around,” adds Howe. “And with technology that combines Segway original innovations with safety and convenience features inspired by the automotive industry, we believe our new e-bikes represent a leap forward in terms of the rider experience.”
Segway is also introducing a new line of accessories for both e-bikes (sold separately), including the Xiro Dropper Post (available March 2026 for $229.99) and Rearview Radar (on sale soon for $99.99).
Xiro, an industry first, is a revolutionary dropper post that senses when riders are slowing to a stop and lowers automatically, allowing them to put both feet down for stability and mount or dismount with ease.
Rearview Radar brings the enhanced safety of automotive blindspot detection to e-bikes. Mounting on the rear of the e-bike, it utilizes millimeter wave radar to detect the location, velocity and angle of objects with high accuracy to provide real-time audio and visual alerts that riders can customize in the app.
Xiro and Rearview Radar integrate with the e-bike’s electronics and don’t require separate charging. Other accessories compatible with both e-bikes include an e-Bike Front Basket ($99.99 – Jan.), e-Bike Mirror ($29.99 – March) and Easy Clamp Phone Mount ($59.99).
Myon, the first new e-bike in the lineup, goes on sale today at store.segway.com and Segway dealers nationwide. A commuter and leisure e-bike that blends classic style with the sleek, modern aesthetic that Segway is known for, Myon is a selectable Class 1, 2 or 3 e-bike that comes packed with features like Segway’s new proprietary electronic shifting paired with a 9-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain, TurboTuned™ motor optimization and Segway’s Intelligent Ride System suite of smart tech for security, safety and convenience. Myon is also compatible with an optional Removable Toptube accessory ($99.99 – Jan.) that changes it from a step-through to a traditional diamond frame, changing aesthetics, improving torsional rigidity and allowing riders to add additional accessories like frame bags (up to 11 pounds).
“We designed Myon to be an everyday bike for every type of rider,” said Howe. “It’s equally at home on a daily city commute as it is on a pleasure cruise along the coast or in the countryside.”
Segway’s innovative approach to electronic shifting (e-shifting) features intuitive and easy-to-press “+/-” buttons on the handlebar mounted control module which connect to a proprietary servo control unit mounted near the rear derailleur. A traditional shift cable connects the derailleur to that control unit which makes the system compatible with most standard rear derailleurs, while keeping the actual cable length minimal to reduce wear, stretch and maintenance. Shifting can be fine tuned in the app via a user-friendly interface that doesn’t require mechanical skill or knowledge. And the system is powered by the e-bike’s battery, so riders don’t have to remember to charge additional components. It also has the ability to receive OTA updates that allow for future improvements, features and upgrades to e-shift performance.
TurboTuned is Segway’s approach to optimizing motor and battery performance and efficiency. In conjunction with the brand’s new Algorithm 2.0, it ensures every powertrain component works in sync for refined, effortless performance that delivers more than power. Ultra-precise sensors, physics-based algorithms, multi-sensor (torque, cadence, gyroscope) input and an Inertial Measurement Unit continuously adjust power for terrain and rider needs. The result is much stronger performance than Myon’s 500-watt rating suggests when conditions demand it, delivered in a way that feels more natural than most e-bikes, while smartly conserving to increase range and efficiency when demands on the system are lower. With up to 80 miles of range and peak torque of 85 Nm, TurboTuned™ adds up to more than just the motor and battery size.
Myon retails for $1,999.99 and is available now at store.segway.com and through official Segway e-bike dealers in the US.
Muxi (pronounced “moo-shee”) is Segway’s new short-tail e-bike aimed at blending utility and versatility with fun in a stylish, compact design where retro cool meets modern. Featuring a low standover height and upright, comfortable riding position, Muxi is designed for riders to make it their own with a suite of accessories available separately to increase capacity and functionality. A Passenger Kit ($199.99 – March) that includes a seat, foot pegs and wheel guards doubles the fun by allowing riders to carry a passenger (up to 120 pounds) with ease. A Middle Basket ($29.99 – March) adds additional cargo space and Fenders ($79.99 – March) help keep riders clean and dry even when the road isn’t. A fold-down cupholder comes standard to ensure no beverage is left behind.
“I’m really excited about Muxi,” said Howe. “It blends the laidback comfort of a beach cruiser with the stability of a Dutch cargo bike. If Myon is an everyday sedan, Muxi is the cool, fun, surf van you take to the beach with all your friends.”
Muxi is a selectable Class 1 or 2 e-bike that features a single-speed drivetrain paired with a direct-drive motor for ease of use. To help improve safety and stability—especially with its ability to carry additional cargo—Muxi comes packed with features like Hill Start Assist to prevent rollback when starting on an incline, Hill Descent Control for confident descending and reduced brake wear, and Regenerative Braking for improved efficiency. It also features a Traction Control System (TCS) which detects wheelspin and modulates power to help keep riders in control. Paired with Segway’s Intelligent Ride System suite of smart tech for security and convenience, these features combine to make Muxi as thoroughly modern as it is utilitarian.
Muxi will retail for $1,699.99 and be available March 2026 at store.segway.com and through official Segway e-bike dealers in the US.
While the Myon and Muxi are two remarkably different e-bikes, they both share Segway’s Intelligent Ride System, an integrated suite of smart tech and features, offering incredible innovation and value.

Segway is also introducing the Xaber 300 (pronounced say-br), an all-new electric dirt bike on display at CES. Inspired by the X1000 prototype which competed in the Future Mission 1000 experimental low-emissions vehicle class of the 2025 Dakar Rally, the all-new Xaber 300 is built from the dirt up to offer high-performance, off-road, electric adrenaline.
“This marks another major step forward in Segway’s strategy to broaden its electric mobility portfolio and make high-performance electric transportation and recreation accessible to riders of all lifestyles,” said Howe.
Despite its performance oriented off-road nature, the Xaber 300 will feature the type of innovative technology Segway is known for in its other light electric vehicles.
Three power modes will allow users to choose between 150, 200 and 300cc equivalents, making it like three bikes in one and eliminating the need for riders to purchase bigger bikes as they progress. For experienced riders seeking to make the most of an all-electric platform, a virtual electronic clutch will simulate a mechanical clutch to provide familiar performance for motorcycle enthusiasts in dynamic off-road scenarios. A selectable Traction Control System (TCS) will have settings for different terrain. Riders will even be able to set the maximum wheelie angle in the app for skill progression—a novel application for the gyroscopic sensor technology Segway has honed through its experience in self-balancing vehicles. It will also include parental controls like the ability to set maximum speed limits and geo-fencing via the app. Xaber 300 will boast a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio of 24.7 percent and be backed by a 2-year warranty on key components (battery, motor, frame), 1-year on the complete bike.
“We’ve always been a technology forward company pushing the boundaries of light electric vehicles in efficiency, performance and smart features,” said Howe. “We’re excited to introduce an evolution of that innovation, extending beyond transportation solutions to offer a truly thrilling, electric, off-road experience for enthusiasts.”
Full details and specs will be available closer to launch. Xaber 300 will retail for $5,299.99 and be available Spring/Summer 2026 at store.segway.com and through official Segway dealers in the US.
