As temperatures rise, Miami, Florida is also heating up! Miami Swim Week – The Shows, which debuts this season under new ownership, marking a major advancement in the U.S. swimwear industry.
From Monday, May 25 through Sunday, May 31, 2026, Miami Swim Week – The Shows returns to the Mondrian South Beach Miami under newly appointed CEO, Sean Rashid and Fashion Event Director Elizabeth Claros, ushering in what is poised to be the most globally expansive and technically driven edition in the platform’s history.
This season introduces the largest LED screen ever used at an American fashion show, with only larger displays seen in Europe by houses such as Balenciaga and Christian Dior. This signals a new level of production for the U.S. swimwear sector. The immersive set will feature enhanced LED integration, cutting-edge lighting and laser design, improved sound engineering, and a DJ booth that transforms the traditional resort runway.
The week will feature over 40 designers from the UK, Colombia, Holland, Italy, Brazil, Australia, China and beyond, reinforcing Miami’s position as a global swim hub.
A key highlight includes the return of Ema Savahl Couture, opening the Wednesday, May 27 evening showcase in support of the Little Lighthouse Foundation.
Additionally, this season will also honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Founder, Moh Ducis. On Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 28, a short film tribute accompanied by a live violinist will open the evening runway presentations – a moving moment for the industry following his unexpected passing.
During the week, Kristin Cavallari will introduce her jewelry from her brand, Uncommon James that’s incorporated into styling of models at RESA. Additional details to be announced.
This will happen alongside expanded SwimFit and Wellness Club programming across four days, citywide satellite showcases, and the debut of the Casa Hammock Showroom within the Mondrian Tower Suites, creating a direct-to-buyer environment for editors, retailers, and stylists.
Miami Swim Week – The Shows is entering an exciting new chapter, marked by significant changes in executive leadership. With Sean Rashid stepping in as CEO, the event is set to deliver elevated production benchmarks and broaden its reach through expanded international participation. This evolution, driven by a commitment to innovation and excellence, is expected to resonate strongly with audiences who value cutting-edge swimwear design and global inclusivity.
Ema Savahl lights up the runway at the Mondrian South Beach with her latest collection, “In Goddesses We Trust,” presented in collaboration with Miami Swim Week – The Shows and benefiting the Little Lighthouse Foundation.
