• A night of Mexico, Lucha Libre and tradition

The hotel will celebrate Mexican Independence with Fiesta Mexicana 2026, an immersive experience bringing together gastronomy, culture and entertainment. The evening’s main attraction will be an exclusive partnership with the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Mexico’s leading professional wrestling organization, which will bring two live matches featuring renowned talents from the organization to the hotel.

The experience will begin with a traditional Mexican kermés and continue with a grand buffet showcasing flavors from different regions of the country, from antojitos and street food to seafood, pozole, birria, mole poblano, cochinita pibil and a selection of traditional desserts. Live music featuring mariachi and banda will accompany the evening, along with a broadcast of the traditional “Grito de Independencia”. To close out the night, a Tornafiesta will keep the celebration going into the early hours of the morning.

• A celebration that showcases the flavors of Mexico

The main celebration will take place at the Talavera restaurant on September 15 with the Mexican Viva México celebration, an experience centered around a Mexican buffet featuring traditional specialties such as chiles en nogada, accompanied by margaritas, mezcalitas and Mexican wines. A live mariachi performance will complete the evening, creating an atmosphere that celebrates the warmth and traditions of the country.

Throughout September, the hotel will extend the celebration with mexican cooking classes at Talavera, where guests can learn about traditional recipes, ingredients and techniques, as well as a culinary experience at La Biblioteca, an Agave Tasting Room that pairs Mexican wines and mezcals with a culinary journey inspired by the traditions of Oaxaca, Yucatán, Puebla, Jalisco, Sinaloa and Chihuahua, led by Executive Chef Mauricio López.

Both properties will celebrate Independence season on September 12 with a family-friendly experience by the pool, in the heart of Mexico City. The culinary celebration will continue with seasonal offerings. From August 15 through September 30, guests can enjoy chiles en nogada, one of the season’s most iconic dishes, accompanied by lemonade or orangeade. From September 1 through October 19, Cantaritos 2-for-1 will join the offering, extending the festive spirit.

Presented as a served menu, the culinary journey explores the depth of its flavors, regional traditions and culinary heritage that have made mole a symbol of Mexican gastronomy.

The experience is complemented by a mixology program inspired by Mexico’s roots, bringing together premium spirits, native ingredients, seasonal fruits and contemporary techniques. It is a celebration where history, tradition and fine dining come together to honor the authentic flavors and spirit of the nation.

The celebration will take place throughout the day and continue into the evening with programming designed for all ages.
