Dream Inn Santa Cruz, the recently renovated 1963 retro chic hotel, has teamed up with Club Ed to offer surf and SUP lessons for hotel guests.  The Travel Channel recently recommended Club Ed for surf camp and Cowell Beach (just a minute walk from Dream Inn) as one of the top 10 places in the world to learn to surf.

After a full renovation just last year, the hotel reopened with a whimsical retro-surfer décor, which nods to the inn’s origins and Santa Cruz’s history as a surfing mecca. The property features an ocean view from every guestroom.  Dark-wood ’60s-style furnishings and turquoise accents give the guestrooms and its restaurant and bar, Aquarius and Jack O’Neill Lounge (homage to the late Jack O’Neill who lived in Santa Cruz), a classic beachy feel.
