Translation: A hybrid that achieves 0-60 in just 5.6 seconds!

From the bottom up, the EV mode allows you to travel for a short distance and a low speed on electric power only, while ECO adjusts climate-control and other systems that tax the battery in order to achieve energy savings. But to really get the adrenaline flowing requires driving in Sport, Sport S or Sport S+ modes. Each of the three adjusts throttle response, transmission control, suspension, steering and more. Of them all, the greatest thrill comes when driving in Sport S+, where power and glory take center stage to deliver the kind of testosterone raising performance that will have you smiling like a fat kid over a hunk of frosted cake!

In terms of options, they’re all included by the time you pimp it out, for a total of $70K. So cut and dry, if I were in the market for a new car, for one, it would definitely be a performance based hybrid or a diesel vehicle. And with the killer performance, stunning looks and fuel economy rating of the 2014 GS 450h, no doubt, it would be amongst the top two contenders!
