Wintertime and the holiday season is fast approaching, and now it’s the time to start thinking of warm weather escapes. With a new non-stop Jetblue flight from NYC, as well as direct and easy connections from most major cities, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico should be at the top of your winter getaway list. And when considering where to stay the choice is simple: Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway.

Located steps from El Malecón – the main walking strip in town – Villa Premiere remains an exclusive and secluded destination thanks to its own beachfront and all encompassing services. Here you’ll find the best of both worlds; seclusion and peace at your front door, next to festive crowds, select shopping and lively streets – when you want it, just minutes away.

Dining

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming a foodie destination with Michelin star restaurants all around town, fortunately you will have no need to venture far thanks to Chef Sebastian Varona and his masterful creations. Overseeing three on-location restaurants, all your culinary expectations are guaranteed to be surpassed. Best of all you can select an all-inclusive plan that will have meals covered as part of your package.

La Ceiba
Let’s start with your breakfast and lunch home base. The setting is unbeatable, an oversize palapa next to the beach. Take a relaxing stroll and find your table overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the soothing waves, or on occasion the smooth up-tempo jazz performed live from award winning musicians. The menu can be light or robust, depending on your appetite. Choose a flank steak with risotto, curry chicken, pasta, sashimi, Mexican specialties, or of course the fresh seafood.

You must try the Ceviche, and if staying over the weekend visit the Fish Market and select your 2 pound Red Snapper, freshly caught lobster, or the assortment of octopus, oysters, mussels, and clams.
You can be sure that whatever soothes your fancy will be Master Chef level dining.

Chef Sebastian Varona at the Fish Market

Fish Market Experience
A sea-to-table concept created by Chef Varona and his team to enhance the beachfront dining experience with fresh ingredients straight from the Bay of Banderas and other waters near Mexico’s Pacific Coast.

The culinary team hosts a literal fish market where all guests can pick whatever fresh fish and other saltwater delicacies were caught that day. On the menu, you will also find seasonal options such as mahi-mahi, sea bass, and crab, among others.

Murales
For a more romantic dinner setting opt for Murales. Here the dining is equally superb. You can find classic dishes, or select some of Chef Varona’s more creative and adventurous creations. This is a novel proposal to Mexican cuisine.

La Corona
Enjoy sophisticated, trend-setting cuisine. La Corona is a refined gourmet experience inspired by the traditional varieties of foods in order to create unique dishes. With great attention to detail, Chef Varona selects the flavors that have captivated the most demanding diners, adding his personal touch.

In-Room Dining
In-Room dining retains the quality found at the sit down restaurants. Rest assured that if you select to stay-in the level of food will not be compromised.

Pool Bar
For days when you want to relax by the beach, or chill at a cabana by the pool you can feast on a wide array of salads, burgers, shrimp cocktails, or the various signature ceviches. Choose from cocktails, select wine and premium drinks to refresh your senses and relax to the max with the magnificent ocean views from the infinity pool.

Chef’s Table/ Romantic Dinner for 2
For the ultimate dining experience in Puerto Vallarta – or maybe ever – select the Chef’s Table. This is a multisensory multicourse dinner that begins at sunset, under the canopy at the furthermost point of the resort, directly over the ocean. You arrive through a candle lit walkway to a table setting of fresh aromatic flowers, and candles. For this meal Chef Varona and his staff truly shine.

Watching them prepare your meal tableside feels like seeing a perfectly orchestrated culinary ballet. As a fire blazes on the grill with a tomahawk steak, an assistant prepares the sauces, while another artistically plates the food. When all is done the staff arrives at the table and presents each dish with perfectly choreographed precision. Select dinner with a wine pairing to complete the experience.
This superior culinary tour is available for group dinner from 6 to 14 persons. Reservations are taken 24 hours in advance. Extra charges apply.

You can also design a similar experience for a romantic dinner for two. The luxury of life is to enjoy every moment, and moments are made from small details. Celebrate that anniversary, promotion, the launch of a business, or an unforgettable proposal in the ideal atmosphere. Enjoy a 3-course menu with your select bottle of wine or champagne. Reservation applies 24 hours in advance.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is one of the favorite beach destinations around the world, the combination of marvelous exotic natural areas with an authentic Mexican town has grown into an exciting cosmopolitan environment, with visitors from all around the globe.

Getting There

Earlier this year JetBlue became the only airline to serve Puerto Vallarta’s Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR) with nonstop direct service from New York-JFK. Now it offers more weekly flights between greater New York City and the Mexican Pacific coast destination than any other airline. We at HOMBRE were fortunate enough to join in one of the introductory flights.

Puerto Vallarta is the airline’s newest international destination, and third to Mexico (in addition to Cancun and Los Cabos). The PV flights operate four times weekly; Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays with a mix of both the Airbus A321neo and A320 aircraft.
Enabled by JetBlue’s Northeast Alliance (NEA), the new service further expands the airline’s significant presence across Latin America and the Caribbean, while diversifying and advancing its New York focus city strategy. The airline continues to grow beyond the U.S. with over 30 international destinations in more than two dozen countries.

The high value airline, whose philosophy is to offer exceptional service at competitive fares, ensures that every customer enjoys the same level of service. With JetBlue’s entry into this market, they bring industry leading commodities including most legroom in coach class, free drinks, snacks, and onboard entertainment.

In addition to the new NYC service, JetBlue is a leading carrier in Boston, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Los Angeles, Orlando and San Juan. For more information, and exclusive fares available online only visit www.jetblue.com.

This winter discover Puerto Vallarta or revisit it and enjoy the Romantic Zone, the Old Town, marvelous beaches, quaint magical towns, and some of the trendiest restaurants, cafés, art galleries, bars and night clubs.
