For those looking for an intimate setting for friends and family to gather this Christmas Eve, and enjoy an exciting dining experience with unique flavors and presentations delightful dishes, MIFUNE is the perfect setting.

Executive Chef Tomohiro Urata, known as Tomo, has created a ten-course tasting menu that will unite guests in the holiday spirit.

Chef Tomo’s Christmas Eve feast will include but is not limited to:

  • Hokkaido Uni with cauliflower cream and dashi gelee served on the shell
  • Grilled Lobster in mussel coconut lemongrass foam
  • Angus Filet Mignon Foie Gras Rossini with black truffle perigueux sauce
  • and Chocolate and Caramel Cream Gateau Opera with espresso ice cream for dessert.

After a memorable meal, diners can take a short stroll to Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, and holiday destinations on Fifth Avenue to take in the sights and sounds of Christmas in New York.

The experience is priced at $200 per person, with an optional sake and wine pairing for an additional $70.

MIFUNE New York is set in an intimate, dimly lit space punctuated by natural wood accents, high ceilings with dramatic chandeliers, and three large shoji style panels that add to the ambiance and music that transports one out of the frenzy of Manhattan.
The subtle yet sophisticated and avant-garde dining room perfectly complements the culinary techniques Chef Tomo perfected while working at some of the top restaurants in France like two Michelin-starred La Relais de la Poste in Magescq, three Michelin-starred Régis & Jacques Marcon in Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid and three Michelin-starred Maison Troisgros in Roanne.
