Buchanan’s whisky, the official spirits sponsor of the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards, celebrated the nominations of Puerto Rican Reggaeton artists, Zion y Lennox, during a performance to preview their new album, Motivan2, in Miami. The brand recognized the musicians for their three Billboard Latin Music nominations, which include Airplay Song of the Year, Latin Rhythm Song of the Year, and Latin Rhythm Songs Artist of the Year, Duo or Group.

During the evening’s toast, Zion y Lennox acknowledged Buchanan’s for their support. “We are grateful for the recognition we have received from such an iconic brand like Buchanan’s. We are very proud of how far we’ve come thanks to the help of our teams, families, and fans. It has been extremely rewarding to see our work recognized, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with great company and a glass of Scotch whisky!”

Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails created by Colombian mixologist, J.D. Marin. Fans can recreate one of last night’s cocktail, The Grand Mojito, for family and friends while the best and brightest Latin recording artists take center stage during the televised awards on Thursday, April 28 at 8 p.m. EST on Telemundo.
