Camarena has been named the official tequila of the International Champions Cup and LaLiga North America for the 2020-21 season. A nod to its heritage and love of the game, the brand will help bring the ultimate soccer experience to fans here in the US, as some of the biggest clubs and footballers will compete stateside in the coming months. The multi-pronged soccer platform, which combines LaLiga’s 10-month long competition with ICC’s summer tournament, features the top international soccer clubs going head to head.

Camarena’s award-winning tequila portfolio includes Silver, Reposado Anejo, which are all harvested by hand from 100% blue weber agave in Jalisco’s Arandas Highlands, offering one of the smoothest and best-tasting portfolios on the market – the perfect match for tuning into your favorite clubs and players competing.

And with Dia de los Muertos just a few weeks away, Camarena Silver honors this 3,000 year old tradition with the perfect cocktail, a Margarita Muerta (below).

Whether celebrating Halloween or Dia de los Muertos this year, Camarena’s Margarita Muerta is the perfect salute to either of these tradition-filled holidays.

Margarita Muerta (The Dead Margarita):

1.5 oz. Camarena Silver
.5 oz. Blood Orange Liqueur
.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz. Agave Nectar
1 oz. Passion Fruit Nectar
2-3 Slices of Jalapeno

Instructions: Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and shake together to combine/chill. Strain into a festive Mexican skull mug (if desired), and fill with crushed ice. Garnish with dehydrated lime, the interior contents of a passion fruit, and a burning cinnamon stick.
