Kiwanis Club of Little Havana has unveiled the official event schedule for Carnaval Miami 2024. Joined by Kiwanis board members and notable sponsors, President Pablo Lau made a series of announcements at a press conference held at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Florida, including the declaration of this year’s Kings of Carnaval Miami, Latin Grammy-winning musical artists, GENTE DE ZONA, as well as a presentation of the official 2024 Carnaval Miami poster by acclaimed Colombian-American artist DANNY DOYA.

“Carnaval Miami is a long-standing tradition in our city, and we are honored to continue it year after year,” said Kiwanis Club of Little Havana President, Pablo Lau. “In my first year as President of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, I am excited to announce that the legendary Cuban musical duo Gente de Zona will serve as our Kings of Carnaval while the talented muralist Danny Doya will bring his unique style to the Carnaval Miami 2024 poster. All of us at the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana are proud to present Carnaval Miami 2024 as a celebration of the vibrant and welcoming culture of the Hispanic Community and we look forward to sharing this experience with all of you this February and March.”

Carnaval Miami is the marquee annual fundraiser of Kiwanis Club of Little Havana in support of the Kiwanis Little Havana Foundation’s youth development programs. It represents an economic impact of $40M for local artists, vendors, and small businesses throughout the Greater Miami area. Host to a series of captivating events that attract one million attendees each year, Carnaval Miami 2024 is best known as host of the country’s largest ‘Latino’ experiential event, Calle Ocho Music Festival. The 2024 edition of the Calle Ocho Music Festival, presented by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Florida, will feature the Kings of Carnaval, Gente de Zona, performing their new single “Por Ahi” for their adoring fans in the heart of Miami.

Also returning is the Coral Gables street festival, Carnaval on the Mile, presented by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Florida, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2024. The festival highlights art, world music, fine cuisine, and children’s entertainment all weekend. GRAMMY winner Tony Succar and Latin GRAMMY winner Ed Calle are among the headliners for the three concert stages at the 25th Anniversary edition of Carnaval on the Mile. The longtime event consists of live music, a mile of paintings, crafts, photography and jewelry of the highest caliber creating a cultural experience for the enjoyment of all age groups.
