In celebration of Earth Month, The New York and Times Square EDITION hotels are spotlighting the most eco-conscious wine and spirit brands on their menus, encouraging guests to imbibe intentionally with drinking brands that are doing their part behind the scenes to stay green.

The New York EDITION:

The New York EDITION is shining a light on the most eco-conscious offerings on their new Spring menu – curated by Director of Bars Madeline Barry – encouraging guests to ‘drink responsibly.’ From April 16-22, guests who select one of the five following drinks will be gifted a complimentary packet of wildflower seeds to help keep the planet green:

  • Glenmorangie Whisky – create through a process that turns the by-products of whisky production into biogas, generating clean, green energy
  • James Rahn Orange Wine – this natural wine is low-impact and hand-harvested while working with the vineyard to boost biodiversity and soil health
  • Ruinart Blanc de Blancs or Rose – packaged in a case made from 99% pulped paper and cellulose fibers and without incurring any airfreight, resulting in a 60% reduction in its carbon footprint
  • Roku Gin Bloodshot – Suntory Gin has adopted 7 sustainability themes including a commitment to maintaining the water cycle, reducing CO2 emissions and recycling of packaging
  • Belvedere Spiced Colada – LVMH launched The Living Soils initiative in 2020 encompassing focal points that include climate change, sustainable supply chains and preservation of water and energy

The Times Square EDITION:

The Times Square EDITION is offering a limited-edition cocktail, BEElieve in Me, crafted by award-winning Beverage Director Amy Racine. Utilizing The Botanist gin, a certified B Corp and sustainable distillery, $1 from each cocktail will be donated to The Bee Conservancy. Ingredients include:

  • The Botanist gin
  • Honey
  • Fresh mint
  • Sparkling wine
