This Valentine’s Day some of our favorite New York City restaurants are offering exciting menus that deliver creative and exquisite experiences. Whether your taste ranges from upscale Latin dishes, to exotic Indian cuisine, to Greek Mediterranean in a stand-out setting; below you’ll find the perfect venue to celebrate love with your someone special.

Limani

At Limani New York, couples are greeted with a spacious indoor dining room marked by beautiful white marble and a blue infinity pool emulating a true Mediterranean atmosphere to whisk lovers away from the winter weather of New York. For Valentine’s Day, Executive Chef-Partner M.J. Alam will be serving a special four-course prix fixe menu priced at $145 per person.

Highlights from the first course include:

  • Blue Point Oysters: ½ dozen in the half shell
  • Tuna Tartare: Micro basil, serrano chili, and an orange slice

Second course options such as:

  • Crab Cakes: Jumbo lump crabmeat with Maryland spices
  • Tunisian Octopus: Grilled and served sashimi style

    Limani

Main Course selections including:

  • Filet Mignon: 10 oz. boneless dry aged prime beef tenderloin
  • Nova Scotia Lobster: 1 ½ lbs of deep sea, charcoal grilled lobster

And for dessert, couples can pick from a choice of baklava or chocolate covered strawberries.

Tasca

For those looking to experience a Latin-flavored Valentine’s DayTasca will be offering both a four-course Valentine’s Weekend Tasting Menu priced at $85 per person from Friday, 2/11 through Sunday, 2/13, and a special Valentine’s Day menu on Monday, 2/14.

Highlights from the weekend tasting menu include Primer Curso options such as:

  • Crema de Mariscos con Petalo de Rosa: Seafood bisque with rose petals
  • Calamar a la Parilla: Grilled baby octopus over greens and topped with a 12 year sherry vinaigrette and served with smoked paprika oil

A refreshing Segundo Curso:

  • Frappe de Limon y Menta: fresh lemon and mint frappe

And a Tercer Curso with dishes including:

  • Billogodio en Salsa de Vino Tempranillo y Tio Pepe: Braised Caribbean pork in Tempranillo and Tio Pepe accompanied by an apple cider reduction and coconut pigeon pea rice
  • Filete de Abadejo Sobre Yuquita Zainfina: Filet of fresh cod over yuquita Zainfina and champagne saffron reduction
  • Filete Miñon Sobre Pastel de Yuca: Filet mignon over yucca cake with cabrales and oloroso reduction sprinkled with tomillo

    Tasca

For Valentine’s Day, an a la carte menu will be served along with specials available only on February 14th, with options including:

  • Vieras en Caldo de Frijoles: Sea scallops in a black bean broth with Caribbean herbs and saffron teardrops
  • Rodaballo sobre Papas: Grilled halibut filet over Peruvian potatoes and a light albarino reduction
  • Chuleta de Cordero: Grilled baby lamb chops, baby carrots, baby zucchini, and a port wine reduction

To accompany these menus, Tasca’s beverage program incorporates a spirits list which includes over 100 varieties of premium rums. Additionally, Tasca has the capacity to properly serve over 400 wines, with a current inventory of roughly 180, all of which are temperature controlled. The list is 80% Spanish with others from locales including Napa Valley, Provence and New Zealand.

Badshah

Badshahwho showcases inventive dishes inspired by Indian street food and signature classics updated in creative ways, will be offering a special three-course prix fixe Valentine’s Day menu priced at $120 for two and includes a bottle of wine.

Highlights from the menu include appetizers such as:

  • Crispy Cauliflower: with a chili garlic glaze, sesame, and onion seeds
  • Dahi Puchkas, spiced potatoes with a tamarind-mint chutney

Entrees with standouts including:

  • Baby Spinach Purée: with tandoori paneer and tempered garlic
  • Murgh Makhani Roast: with a tomato-fenugreek curry

Traditional sides like Roti and Garlic Naan are also available to choose from for the table. And for dessert, couples can indulge in Sweet Betel Bites, honey glazed donuts with betel leaf ice cream and fennel seeds.

Badshah is the next generation of Indian restaurants, a direct descendant of acclaimed Surya in the West Village. Chef/Owner Abishek Sharma grew up at his father’s feet learning every aspect of the business including traditional and innovative cooking techniques.  In 2017, Sharma brightened up a cozy corner of Hell’s Kitchen with artistic, youthful energy and Badshah was born.

Madam Ji

Madam Ji offers modern interpretations of traditional Indian flavors for an elevated romantic dinner experience. It will feature special three-course prix fixe Valentine’s Day menu priced at $120 for two and includes a bottle of wine.

  • Crispy Aubergine: with Malabar, goat cheese, and a spinach crumble
  • Goan Cafreal Chicken Tikka, served with a masala aioli

Entrees with standouts including:

  • Crispy Okra: with tempered yogurt, curry leaves, and a tomato confit
  • Dalcha Shrimp: with sprouted lentils and a coconut curry

Traditional sides like Dal Makhana, Garlic Naan, and Jeera Rice are also available to choose from for the table. And for dessert, couples can indulge in Sweet Betel Bites, honey glazed donuts with betel leaf ice cream and fennel seeds.
