COURVOISIER Cocktails for National Cognac Day

As we toast today’s National Cognac Day we bring you cocktails that highlight this French brandy. To fete the occasion, Courvoisier Cognac has created some refreshing libations that not only celebrate the spirit but are also perfect for summer imbibing! One of them is a Negroni—a different take on the classic cocktail.

Since its creation in the early 1800s, Courvoisier boasts a rich history that dates back to the days of Napoleon Bonaparte. In fact, Courvoisier at the time became known as “the Cognac of Napoleon,” because it was the French emperor’s favorite, and in the brand’s current insignia, you can see Napoleon reaching into his jacket, where he notoriously kept his flask of Courvoisier.
