Two stylish new hotel properties are slated to open early this year on the West Coast, and we’re excited to bring you a first look. We’ll start with a new addition to Los Angeles’ modern hospitality collection,  The West Hollywood EDITION. And just in time for Coachella comes  Hotel Indigo Coachella. Take a look below.

The new tastemaker in town. Slated to open Spring 2019 on LA’s famed Sunset Blvd, The West Hollywood EDITION is the collection’s first West-Coast outpost that will consist of 190 guest rooms and 20 luxury residences.

Conceived by Ian Schrager in partnership with Marriott International, The West Hollywood EDITION will continue to combine the personal, intimate, individualized experience that Schrager is known for, with the global reach, operational expertise and scale of Marriott.

The West Hollywood EDITION is designed by famed designer John Pawson and will feature a signature restaurant along with an art-filled lobby lounge and bar, Basement club, a six-treatment room spa, state of the art-fitness center and an expansive rooftop pool, complete with 360 degree views of the Los Angeles skyline.

Slated to open just in time for the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Hotel Indigo Coachella is the first luxury hotel to open in the Coachella Valley. Situated just a stones-throw from the Empire Polo Club and Coachella fairgrounds, Hotel Indigo will feature a sprawling 35-acre resort.

Amenities will include four and six-bedroom casitas with shared living rooms and areas for entertaining, restaurant, cocktail lounge, marijuana dispensary, as well as state-of-the-art spa, gym and yoga studio. The centerpiece of the property will be a 10,000 square-foot Las Vegas-style party pool filled with chilled saltwater and complete with a DJ stage and catwalk.

The property will also feature 11 acres of grass-covered “playground” to host music events, wellness retreats and corporate and private events.
